Ok, so a call to planning at Zuff today confirms there is still no news on UK cars.

RDE is to blame and IF second batch cars come, they will be right at the back end of the year...However...There is no production planning in place currently for European or C16 chassis.

In other news, UK 992 allocation will massively increase after Jun (MY20) summer shutdown. driving
Not the case Porsche have confirmed to UK OPC’s build numbers and approx dates
So one post you have a build date of October and must have ordered the car as you know you have not gone PTS,the next post you say Porsche have confirmed approx build dates to dealers!!!!

Can you make your Feckin mind up!

If you e ordered and seen the spec sheets etc don’t post your order but can you post current prices specs and option prices???
All I can tell you is what my Dealer principal has told me. They are getting 3 cars. I have been give one car. Oct build (they believe) can’t have PTS as that option gone. Told me to give my spec. But website does not show price or weissach option!! Maybe he’s bull SH*TTING but would doubt it?!
So not specked then, nonidea about WLTP or BHP,PTS already gone yet how could it be with no confirmed details!!!!

This all sounds like my dealer said I might get one if we get enough!

No filter apparently. Some kind of derogation for limited numbers.
First specs went in this week at short notice; have no reason to make that up. Friend has told me his colour, price and est completion date from newly confirmed order.
Not all dealers can take orders on system yet, but they know approx numbers.
How comes everyone on here has got a friend whos got one,why aren’t the FRIENDS on here, strange conincidence!

I have a friend called Teresa, she’s trying to pull of a big deal, apparently yikes

OK it’s well past midnight and KNOW ONE can tell us the list price or price of any options, whether or not it has a GPF,you would think just one person might have such information bearing in mind how many on here are now saying they have e specked their cars this week.

And

Please, please go buy a sense of humour some of you, jeeze are you lot serious!

Dear Porsche can I please speck my car with WP,Mickey Mouse Watch and a Sense of humour.

No GPF would be a big surprise.... but a very welcome surprise if footsolider’s info is correct...... let’s hope so!
It would as the very reason for the delay and P not bulding these cars for 12 months was because of overcoming the GPF

I tried phoning my OPC yesterday and rather mysteriously there were no sales people available to speak to me.I'll take that as a big fat NO then..Ah well, life goes on and it gives me a great excuse to start spending my money elsewhere.
My plan B from the outset was if i didn't get an RS in the second batch i'll look for a nice Performante or 675LT instead..To those of you who have driven both which is the most fun to drive?..I have already looked at a few Performantes which i can get for just over £190K or the same price as a well specced GT3 RS WP.
Have a 600 LT for sale if interested?
Why are you selling a 600LT already,I’ll go
£165k if it’s a good spec!
RS inbound need to create some space
It’s not a bad idea Taffy that plan b

Very nice club sport 675LT at AB and under 200k with massive spec,1 owner idea

OK so despit all the claims about cars being specked with this and that option there is still
NOT one person who can give us the list price or any of the option prices!

I rest my case!

So there is still NOT one single person amongst all those that say they have specked their car that can tell us the list price or price of any options?

That seems rather strange does it not?

I rest my case

I’m not throwing anything anywhere,I just find it highly hilarious that not one person can back up any claim whatsoever!

Isn’t that the old list though where the painted bonnet wasn’t yet an option and Weissach without cage also not offered?
Yes exactly, this new one is just an updated version of the long standing wish list IMO,its been around for ages but its no conformation of cars being built.

I'll go with Taffys reply from his OPC for now as its the same as mine!!!!

Look on the bright side though, those in the know are saying the list price hasn't altered so that's good news, now where are those cars?

Not fully up to speed on the thread - but :

"Sports car maker Porsche will have to restart production on a limited-edition 911s which sank along with more than 2,200 other vehicles on board the Grande America in the Bay of Biscay last week.

A Porsche Brazil spokesperson has now confirmed that it had 37 new cars on board the ship, including four rare 911 GT2 RS being shipped from Hamburg, Germany to Santos, Brazil."

Will they restart production for *just* four ?

https://gcaptain.com/porsche-to-restart-production...
Yes that's correct, if you go back to page 19 on this thread I posted and exert where Porsche say these customers will not loose out.

I have some concrete info for you guys ..My SA who i have a great relationship and trust implicitly has phoned me back this morning with an update..As correctly mentioned above the OPC internal RS configurator has been recently updated to include the various WP bits and bobs..
However they have not received absolute official confirmation from either Porsche AG or Porsche UK on any allocations, if any on the second batch RS.They have made a request for a few RSs with Porsche UK but still absolutely not a solitary word on any allocations whatsoever.
I mentioned this thread to him and all he said was he's guessing its a reaction to the updated configurator..A few top customers have probably been asked to come in to spec RSs, but still no confirmation on numbers of allocations.
They have not made any firm allocations as of yet..The number one for an RS has been told 100% he'll get their first RS when allocations have been announced but not as of yet.
I'm a big loyal client at my OPC and they know me too well not to bullcensoredit me..
Thanks Taffy exactly what I was told so looks to be spot on information that!

That make no sense. I had a coffee with my DP this morning. They are getting 3 cars. big spread on build dates, July to October. All cars were / will be specced this week. I didn't bother asking anymore as not really interested.
+1 no sense at all SA is the last person to receive the info, the DP will know more I'd say.
Maybe the DP passed the info on so he could inform the centers well respected customer, bit of a conspiracy theory and all that, just saying

I have to say err.... how can how I let you down gently wink

I've more chance of flying to the moon tomorrow at 9.35am with my fellow passenger Donald Trump than you have of obtaining an RS if all you have purchased is one GT car in the last 4/5 years.

Hmm... I think that went well smile

In fairness if you have no past track record then buying from a dealer on the continent is not exactly guaranteed either - I tried to get a Touring and was basically told you can leave a 10k deposit, but it is doubtful you will get a car. I did not call round though and just asked in Munich, where there is clearly a large number of potential customers
You need to head off the beaten track a bit;)
yeah true, but in the end I couldn't be bothered - bought the Scuderia instead. I don't like to beg to be allowed to buy something
The Scud is an epic choice, congrats for taking the plunge, what a sound track!
