I did the same thing in 2018 and ended up with two Porsche Experience days.

Did they not realise you had 2 driving days and only bought 1 car ? Thought they would of charged you for one of them ?

SportAuto tested the manual 992S and loved it. Also, Hockenheim lap times on par with the PDK version. Bodes well for the manual 992T

You’re assuming some sort of two way joined up system between two companies - it just doesn’t happen. I’ve ordered and cancelled a car and still had the PEC morning.

Surely any day now for the announcement.

Any chance they could slot in the 4.0 NA engine from the 718 GTS? That, with a manual, would be fantastic.

Wishful thinking .
But it would be wonderful if it did !
Might also come with a ducktail spoiler option!
We can all dream !

Likewise. I would seem strange to develop the 4.0 only for the 718 GTS and not use it in the 911 at some stage so here’s hoping.

That’d be one very wide duck tail on a 992! I’m sure there are many items you could add to your dream list for the car: no stupid red LED across the back, narrower, lighter, proper hand brake. I think you can see where I’m going with this?!

zero chance, it's more likely to be an interior trim level, base engine and lightweight rear glass

Walliser has said in interviews both in 2019 and last year that the 4.0 NA lump from the 718 GT4 / Spyder / GTS is not going into the 992.

Doesn't make it totally impossible, Porsche has reversed gears before (eg manual back into 991.2 GT3), but given it was only a year ago he last said it wasn't happening, seems extremely unlikely.

No Carrera T announcement at LA auto show.

I don’t think there will be one.

When do OPC get their allocations. I've been told start if November, then mid, now near the end of the month.

Allocations of what?
The 992T is currently nothing but rumour. They won’t know what they’re getting until there is something to get.

Allocations in general. I've got a 911 c2 on order.

My dealer said November announcement. But I’m doubting that now can’t see any other announcements this month during or after the LA show.

I'd heard similar and submitted a LOI...... still waiting for news.
