That 992 Touring at JZM would have been about £147K list. It is obvious the owner never intended to use it,
Looks terrible with the roof like that against that body colour.....totally ruined. Perhaps they didn't like the end result. I wouldn't. BorkBorkBork said:

The Carbon roof only really works with a Black 992 Touring IMO otherwise it complicates the otherwise deliberate understated design. However all bets are off on the winged GT3 as it has a very different ethos.
JZM's Touring really doesn't appeal to me because of the Carbon although I really like Gentian as a colour in isolation which is a deep, dark classy blue which really suits the Touring.
In terms of £270K for one it only takes one fool willing to part with his money to sell which is very likely in these surreal daft times.

Hi Taffy, off topic but is that your RS offered at the hairpin company? Have seen you post about the all black weissach RS JZM's Touring really doesn't appeal to me because of the Carbon although I really like Gentian as a colour in isolation which is a deep, dark classy blue which really suits the Touring.

Mine is tucked up in my garage until its next track day outing at Oulton Park on June 14th. The Hairpin RS looks absolutely stunning with all the extra Carbon bits and the best value RS WP currently for sale.Taffy66 said:

A couple of observations - the purple and orange .1 RSs at Ashgood have both gone up from £149,995 to £151,995 in the last week. Conversely, the green .2 RS at OPC Leicester was reduced from £215k to £212k a month or so back, and is now down again at £210k.
Is it me or are 991.1 gt3 Rs cars with 4 owners / 15k on the clock looking expensive at 150k ? Can see values and the crazy premiums stealers and the chosen few make starting to slide soon with the economy and all that.
BTW, yes stealers get very pissy if you don't play the game. Bought a turbo and gt3 last year from an out of town centre remotely as they had stock early 2021. Used my local for a warranty issue late 2021 and they asked about the gt3 then, where I got it etc but thought nothing of it. Went to my local last week and basically told me to get lost when I enquired about a trade in of the turbo for a gt4 last week. I was literally told "why don't you go back to the other centre for future purchase". I walked out a bit dumbstruck. Basically I had been told no more porsches for me!
Might follow their advice and go back to the remote OPC.

The market is weakening for sure, but this was to be expected with the cost of living crisis, OK that may not effect many here but the last two years have been very rewarding for a lot of people making easy money in share market, BTC etc. It is now not as easy, cost of living is going up and it does seem that unless a car is absolutely perfect and at a fair price they are sticking around.I very nearly purchased an RS, but I am kind of glad I did not now, I saved myself 50k and went with a 991.1 GT3 and I can tell you this, OH MY GOD, I am over the moon with it, admittedly most 991.1 GT3's don't do much for me as I do like the brighter colours and most of the 991.1 GT3's for sale seem to be mostly white, for me when spending 100k plus the car has to be a colour I'd love and in an RS that is UV, Lava or Green. But I've always absolutely loved Guards Red GT3's but totally dismissed them mainly because you rarely see them for sale.
However at the weekend I finally picked it up and have already done around 400 miles in it.
It is much louder than my 458 on the outside, mainly due to the IPE headers and exhaust but it does sound glorious.
The 991.1 GT3 values do seem to be holding strong and the colours other than white, silver or black do seem rare and fetch a premium.

White is fairly common but something about white did it for me, even more so when I had the wheels done silver. With 997.1s getting close to the 100k mark and .2s still 150/165 I still feel like mine was ‘value’ for money.
I love the white and agreed the silver wheels seems to brighten everything up Gibbo205 said:

I've done over a 1000 miles in a months ownership of my .2
Such great cars.
So the engine issues on the .1 didn't dissuade you at all?

Nope as its got warranty. I will keep it under warranty. I've done over a 1000 miles in a months ownership of my .2

The .1 has the advantage of been for me the more motorsport feeling car, it is really raw from an engine/drivetrain perspective and I like that.
That brings me onto a question.
My car has OPC 2yr warranty, but I purchased it privately and the warranty is currently in the previous owners name, do I need to get this changed to my name or is it just fine to leave as it is?
