In isolation i prefer the silver wheels compared to the black ones for the reasons you mention......However as i'm absolutely smitten with the yellow no matter how hard i try i can't get the silver/alum rims to work with the yellow/black accents on the configurator..
I'm hoping for some helpful feedback from other GT3 buyers who have also chosen yellow,
Blink and you miss it GT3RS in yellow with silver..... Beautiful (at 10:16)I'm hoping for some helpful feedback from other GT3 buyers who have also chosen yellow,

Can those of you buying GT3s please note that these cars actually look better, more credible and more purposeful, when they're a bit dirty.
Saw a 991.1 GT3 yesterday peppered with dead flies on the leading edges, nice haze of road use, coffee cup in the holder..... looked so much better than a glimmering 'garage queen' that has been detailed to death.

A big +1. I love my white GT3 to have spirited drive dirt on it. Looks ripe and ready....Saw a 991.1 GT3 yesterday peppered with dead flies on the leading edges, nice haze of road use, coffee cup in the holder..... looked so much better than a glimmering 'garage queen' that has been detailed to death.

Agreed - here's my single seater bug killer. (I love the negative camber on the OSF wheel - so purposeful..!)Saw a 991.1 GT3 yesterday peppered with dead flies on the leading edges, nice haze of road use, coffee cup in the holder..... looked so much better than a glimmering 'garage queen' that has been detailed to death.
I was at the PEC today...they've no idea when they are getting demo cars yet although the red press car has been there a couple of times. I was hoping they'd have a Crayon car of any description but no such luck....
Instructor was aghast that I'd be ordering a manual but he's very much a track focused I think ! Ex racing driver who trains some of the Porsche Cup drivers.
For those of you that have an October slot it does seem like that's when the next PTS cars are being built at the factory....my wife's PTS Boxster which was slated for August production has now been confirmed for October.

To change the subject slightly Has anyone used " Paintshield Ltd " from Peterborough for Film Protection to their car. My GT3.2 is coming in Guard's Red
and I am keen to have it protected prior to running it on the road or track.
Also I am considering having the car detailed prior to the film going on & have been recommended to Francis from " Emerald Detailing " any comments would be most appreciated.

Depending where you are in the country, I can highly recommend Ribble Valley Autotech in Preston who fit Xpel Paint Protection and have done a lot of Porsche cars.and I am keen to have it protected prior to running it on the road or track.
