I see there’s a GTS 4 PDK in Crayon just listed with one of the Bham dealers.

Glad to see they are doing another update

The system isn’t half as intuitive as BMWs

Can you download this ‘over the air’ for cars with the pre-update software?

Romans have just sold their coupe at considerable overs, so whilst I agree with your sentiment, the reality being people are willing to pay for the car they want to avoid a 12 month plus wait

Is it genuinely still a 12 month wait for these cars? Seems like a lot of allocations came through on 911 GTS in Jan, additionally other manufacturers delivery times seem to be coming down a bit.

Please expand? Where have you heard of a lot of allocations coming through in Jan? I'm still yet to see an allocation and I've had an order in since start of July 2021....

RAS explained.

I’m sure it’s similar for 992.

My OPC got 6 or 7 GTS allocations in Jan. Porsche deliveries are up 30%+ YoY and I see a number of individuals on other forums getting allocations this month.

Ordered mine the weekend, about a 12 month wait. I think it can vary on which model you chose. Porsche are making GTS models a priority over other versions of 911.

GTS IS over subscribed.

Lots of order in OPC system but not enough cars.

Nothing will change this year AT ALL on the delay front, as I've said before the delays on parts will be with us till well into 2023.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, on the positive side its summer in 5 months!

Porsche have told OPC’s and Porsche GB that GT cars are being given priory order at the factory. So you have ordered a 911 carrera we have a wait. Mine is due sometime in 2023.

This was in part the reason I switched my Carrera S to a GTS. My estimated deliver was June - Aug this year, and the OPC said I could probably get a GTS sooner if not on a similar timeframe.

I’m sure the GTS is more profitable hence the priority call (let’s not kid ourselves that the updates over the S actually cost anywhere near the 10k…).

Got my build date confirmed for first week of May so should pick up end of May/June (Ordered Oct). Unfortunately Aerokit as originally spec'd isn't available (can move down the queue for a slot later in the year but they can't guarantee now that it will be back on then). PTS is an option though for me without a change to the schedule so i'm likely to opt for that.

My PEC is next week so will make a final decision on manual or not - has anyone been to PEC in the past few months and knows what colours their 992s are?

Current spec (excl. colour is PNMXECZ6)

Quite annoying this as I dropped my deposit in July I think it was and don't have a build slot yet. Was talking to my brother as he reminded me his wife's family have bought over a dozen cars from OPC Belfast and I should have ordered from there.

You're not the only one, that post has extremely frustrated me too. I also placed my deposit back in July and no allocation as yet. frown

Not sure if it is a consolation or not, but I’m not convinced your dealers are messing you about. I’m an existing customer of my POC but in no way been prioritised over others….I definitely know that as I hadn’t spoken to them since placing the deposit. I guess its luck of the number of deposits my OPC took in Q2/Q3 last year versus whatever they got allocated.
