Key data point - it’s colour was something familiar to anyone who has ever changed a nappy.

Quite.

Certainly would not have helped the price neither would the unwarranted mileage.

Utter rubbish, I watched the auction live and it was only bid to £100k then fees and vat added of £15k the selling price for this car was only £115k in total.

We have already had this discussion, here’s a link to the auction sold price which includes fees.

https://rmsothebys.com/en/auctions/lf19/london/lot...

It even says Inclusive of applicable buyer's fee in the link.

Why on earth would you keep saying it sold for 118k when it didn’t and we have already discussed this, I just do t get it.

It’s also going to be a rare car in years to come as it’s PTS in a rare colour which will attract collectors over daily drivers, bring honest I’m shocked it only got bid to 100k on the floor as it was for charity as well which normally gets the bidding higher.

If someone else could read the link and confirm it’s selling price which is clearly shown so I know I’m not going mad.

You are making thing up yet again, the car only has 1500km on the clock and was a 2018 plate car still under manufacturers warranty. The colour was pts so this would of included a premium in the price.

After reading the other thread I can understand why others approach you in the way they do, you make things very difficult for yourself.

Another instance of him just talking up the market and also embellishing the facts.

Yes I agree it sold for £115k including buyers fee but excluding VAT on the buyers fee which at 20% is £3k so the total cost to the buyer was £118k.

I already posted the explanation of fees but here it is again

But not VAT which you have forgotten to add.

Your stubbornness to except others may be correct over you is making you look daft yet again.

Just to recap the link you provided is if something sells above £200k where the fee is 15%. The part you choose to ignore is that if a car sells below 200k the fee is 12.5%. We have already discussed this part.

£100,000 x 12.5% is fees of £12,500 then you need to add the 20% vat to the fees which is £2,500 making a total sales price including all fees as it says on the web site of £115k, not your magical £118k

I’m happy to except your apology, but know it will break your heart to agree that someone maybe correct over you so don’t worry.

Who cares debating re £3k? Not really material. I think its fair to say these cars are £10k-£15k behind list in trade today irrespective of spec.

If I’m being honest if it wasn’t for AV185 posting style I wouldn’t of even bothered replying.

Desert Dragon I think you hit the nail on the head saying these cars are now 10k to 15k behind list trade value wise. Will a certain poster agree with your comment, I very much doubt it.

Once he gets back from Aldi with a tin of this to pop on his GT2RS he’ll be penning you an apology;
