Fair enough and if that’s what you think, I’m only new here and I can assure you that I won’t be replying or referring to anything that you say as I don’t want to get involved in confrontation like this.

Good luck with your car search too.

[quote=Youforreal.]All I posted was a reply about the milage and I really seemed to have touched a nerve with you…..insane comment! It’s was just a comment.

For the record I’m after a 997.3 gt3 possibly rs, they are a bit on the high side at the moment but I’ll just wait and see, are the owners mad? No, their car and they can ask what they want.

[quote=Youforreal.]

I wasn’t aware there was a .3 unless you are talking about the 4.0 RS, which sounds unlikely?

This 991.2 looks quite nice for the purist.

Narrow body, C2, Coupe, Manual in a classic colour combo.

Unsold. Any idea of highest bid? Last I saw was mid £40s
May have got close to £50k with fees, but below reserve.
However, I couldn’t see any reference to Extended Porsche Warranty. So, presume didn’t have one.

Could be a nice car, but selling at auction or privately, really needs the Warranty to give buyers comfort and security.
Car is now for sale on AutoTrader for anyone interested, and it does have Porsche warranty for the next 12 months. Always been within the Porsche Approved scheme, I've owned for 2 years and had a full service at Porsche a couple of hundred miles ago. Has geo set up from Center Gravity too.

I think the last bid was 52,500 so 56k with fees.

Im nearly sure invictus have this one straight back up for sale one day after buying it from a private seller on autotrader.
http://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/2024010853...

I rang about it myself and was waiting on the seller getting back to me with some details on servicing and the service book had a load of stamps from a porsche dealer in Dublin.
Turns out It was 1st registered in Dublin, then shipped to the UK.
£52,500 would have bought it for anyone interested. Nice mark up.

I really do think demand is going to be heavily suppressed this year as everyone grapples with high pricing on everything. Sports cars are not a must have for most people and amount of choice to buy has probably quadrupled in the last 10 years ...

Those guys are selling my old car:

https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202310283...

I sold it many years ago and the buyer had a bore inspection done by Mike at Sports & Classic which diagnosed scoring, as such a deal was done.

The new owner took his chances and never had the engine rebuilt and he sold it trade a few months ago to WBAC for circa 25k I believe and the car was using oil and sometimes smoking. So bores must be pretty bad now.

Yet their advert says inspection done, I emailed them over Christmas asking for the supposedly bore inspection results they had done and when they were done, zero response.

Was an awesome car but based on this I'd not buy a car from Invictus, big markups and clearly not had the bores inspected as per the advert says, so it is probably in desperate need of an engine rebuild now.

Just sold my 991.2 targa 4s. 2017. 39000 had high spec for £62000. Was advertised on PH went within 2 days. Had extended warranty, lots of kit. I recall paying 92ish 3 years ago when it had 9000 miles.

Targa 4s was a lovely car. Last summer had a 3 week tour with daughter France, Belgium, Holland, Germany, Denmark, Norway, Sweden and back. Excellent trip.

I had no issues with it (it is more noisy for sure ) - only on some autobahns ie 100+mph we had one of the side windows down a bit as that also helps. When on a super long drive ie 8hrs we did put it up half way as I was getting sun burnt ! smile

wbac listed it at £55k Motorway £61900 and then Car wow £61950 had it on PH at £64 and was happy with £62 from an Porsche dealer group buyer. easy to sell - sold last week.

I love the idea of one of these in that colour. Really works well with the chrome Targa hoop. I'm encouraged by your review of usability/buffeting. Looks like you made some fabulous memories in it.
I see this car is now up for £80k at High Wycombe.
