The 992RS will no doubt be a fantastic track car with just about bearable comfort to drive to and from tracks.
It's really totally the wrong car for anyone who doesn't take it on track on a regular basis. The same goes for the GT4 RS which is a brilliant track car in its own right.
Not sure why you say just about bearable to drive to the track and back, you can adjust the bump and rebound from the cockpit. Of course you don't have the fabled double trombones on the GT4 RS.It's really totally the wrong car for anyone who doesn't take it on track on a regular basis. Well I did 150 miles around Anglesey International yesterday and all the 992GT3s there only held me up even with double trombones Taffy66 said:

I have totally the wrong car, but the cup holder is the perfect size for a flat white, so it’s not all bad news. It's really totally the wrong car for anyone who doesn't take it on track on a regular basis. The same goes for the GT4 RS which is a brilliant track car in its own right.

Last I heard, he was attempting hairpins at 50mph in the wet…!
The inevitable accident was something to do with the RWS mapping being out…
If you read my post again it was between 30mph and 50mph. Anyway, I don't expect you to agree as you don't drive any Porsche you've owned on track. Believe me, it's a completely different driving style that you can never or should never replicate on any public road. The inevitable accident was something to do with the RWS mapping being out…
Personally, I would never be interested in buying or owning any GT Porsche unless I take it on track occasionally. You feel different as your reasons to want GT Porsches are completely different from mine which is fair enough.
