Picked mine up on Monday, first impressions from only a short run home is that it feels awesome and can’t wait to get it run in, having trouble to sync my garage door opener / remote with the homelink in the car, anyone else got this fitted and done it already if so did you have any issues. Had it on the 991 GT3 and as far as I can remember it synced without much fuss.

Picked the beast up on Wednesday and what a difference to the to 991.1 GT3RS! The word epic does seem appropriate. I've driven 200 miles now, wish it could be more but hey ho. It does seem a bit stiffer as some have already mentioned but I prefer that. It all seems to be dialed up several notches. The throttle response is immediate and the sound is much more deeper in bass! All in all I want to keep driving this car. Some track days soon hopefully! Where it can come into it's own. I hope everyone out there is enjoying the experience.

Lovely, think I would have had mine in black if my last 3 hadn’t been that colour. But I love lizard. Done 1,100 miles in a couple of weeks and starting to open it up, it’s addictive and surprisingly compliant on any road.
Just had my PEC email so looking to book up ASAP and see what it really can do.
Thanks.

Is there a definitive view on running in the 991.2 GT3RS?

It appears there are varying views on how to run them in.....I would go with what you are happy with.

White with gold wheels and decals....looks rather good ! Decals are the work of Rick at Highgate House looking at his Instagram account. https://www.instagram.com/carcrazedfool/?hl=en

I saw 'that' 997.2 RS at the Nurburgring again last month. Really does look good, crap pic of it though.

All I keep hearing is unlikely, BUT we all know what P are like! I suppose the release and Allocations on the speedster will give an indication on if P decide to release a second batch. I have been told that ROW will get second batch but Europe possibly not

Both dealers I use are talking about second batch as a sure thing. They've put big customers in second batch to get WP and I just can't believe there's any chance they'd take a risk of these guys not getting cars.

I'm one of them who wants only a WP RS, yet having spoken regarding to my OPC last week, they're as much in the dark regarding a second batch as i am.
Its all down to the GPF..If Porsche can engineer a satisfactory solution and still release the full 520HP with a great noise, then we'll get more.
I'm not holding my breath though..!

Time will tell, what do i know... I chose to take the first batch, could of been first for the WP but the powers that be advised i take first batch allocation, mind you i dont give 2 hoots as ive got a .2 GT3-RS, i dont mind a bit of gambling but gut tells me slim chance of 2nd batch, if they do decide to would of thought less than first batch.

Time will tell. Will be an interesting one as current numbers are tiny (as a full run). I'm on the second batch but have taken the precaution of buying a flipped car - I wanted WP but I also couldn't wait.
