Guido of The Getawayer is now on Auto Bild....released a short vid a couple of weeks ago on the manual car. There's now a version with English subtitles

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=88FZbZKvxWw

He mentions about the brake pedal being slightly high on the car for heel and toe (the car has PCCB's) but says that when the car warms up the offset decreases ? Been a few comments that the GT3's offset if better than the GT4....certainly the manual 991.2 GTS I drove which has PCCB's had quite a big offset.
That's what I like to see - some gratuitous manual gear changes all the way to the red linesmile

Yes and some good shots showing how short the throw is on the 'box. Is used to enjoy the vids he did on his own at The Getawayer...,this one is deffo dumbed down a bit which is a shame.

So my eagerly awaited issue of Evo landed this morning. Turned the pages to ECOTY expecting to see the GT3 wipe the floor and guess what? It's not even in the contest! What are they thinking?

I opened mine today with exactly the same expectations..I suspect it was a political decision based on the premise the GT3 would have won it hands down..Porsches have won it so often since EVO's inception so to pacify the conspiracy theorists they deliberately excluded the GT3.
Was it coincidental that EVO also chose to rename the competition to include all cars not just the ones launched in the last 12 months?..A big disappointment to me as i much prefer the old EVOCOTY's format and content.

Very very unhappy with the Evo eCOTY this year. Ignore no 911 it was just a half arsed collection of disparate independent reviews. An obvious winner as it was in a race on its own. Utter tripe and the nail in my subscription.

Probebly down to cost reasons...

I agree - it looked like EVO didn't have the time, money or inclination to actually do ECOTY this year? It was a bizarre formant, and very un-EVO. And the fact that the 911 did not get a mention in any category, or even a passing reference, is plain odd.

He pedals it pretty well, doesn't he?

In moving pictures - we've all seen plenty of stills of various .2 GT3 specs - that choice of colour looks really good too.

This is his main YouTube channel....I really liked his videos which he hasn't published any of for a year although he's just published one of a manual 991.2 GTS I see
