Mike at Sport & Classic in Cheshire, carried out the PPI and has provided me with an excellent service and pointed out some preventative maintence that could be carried out.
He is a true professional and I would recommend him thoroughly!!!
I have a huge smile on my face and in my opinon have a magical dream car (well, dream for me).
Thanks for all the advice over the last few months!!
See you all soon.

Mike @ sports and classic used to be post on here regularly but is rarely seen now.
Is he too busy or not wants to get involved in the 'tittle tattle' of threadery?
If I were an Indy or a Dealer I wouldn't get involved in the endless idle banter of the minutiae.
Praise where it is due. Mike is a fountain of knowledge and also someone to be trusted.
A rare thing these days.

It's probably a bit of both, but if its the forum crap, I can't say I blame him.
Baz at hartech used to post very detailed technical stuff quite regularly, all based on real-world knowledge from working so closely with Porsches and their engines, but there was occaisionally some snidey posts made, and now he doesn't post very often.
Real shame, as any discussion that followed was usually decent level technical stuff.

I currently used Mike at Sports and Classic and have used Hartech in the past. I rate them both and would not hesitate to use either of them again. Both have contributed to this forum to the benefit of Ph members. Personally, I don't care if they had a spat with another trader on here as it doesn't alter the fact that they are amongst the best in their profession.
I know nothing about the discussion you're talking about it but I do know that Mike is very very busy at the moment (I pass by a few times some days, and pop in too now & then), which may explain why he's not posted much. Although to be fair he did have a day off a couple of weeks ago, when I instructed him in his GT3 around Silverstone. It goes very well indeed too, he's done a great job of it.

When I was in the passenger seat we made a rather deft pirouette across the run-off at Copse! But, by Christ that thing went round the other corners at an alarming speed. Gassing Station | 911/Carrera GT | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
