I've managed to kerb my lovely 20 inch Turbo wheels quite badly. They are the diamond cut centre lock variety.

My local OPC wants £180 to repair it and they'll need the car for a week as the wheel is collected by another company and repaired off site.

I'm more bothered about not having the car for a week than the £180. Does anybody know of a trust worthy company in London/Essex/Herts etc where I could have it done in one day?

I'm new to Porsche but I gather these centre lock wheels are a bit of a pain to get off and can be damaged in the process. So I need someone who knows what they are doing.

Thanks very much

You can probably get a new wheel for under a grand.
Why would I want to pay £1,000 for a new wheel if I can have it refurbed for £180??

won't the opc give you a loan car?
Actually they did offer me a loan car, I assumed that I would have to pay for that. It's not free is it??

Yes it probably is free.

Personally I'd be inclined to just buy a new wheel, have the damaged one repaired and then keep it as a spare.
Well I'm shocked. I never thought they'd offer me a free courtesy car for £180s worth of non warranty work.

I'm not sure I want to shell out for a new wheel right now. I think I'll have it fixed and see how it looks. If it really is a poor match I'll buy a new wheel later on.

Thank you
