Had my 991.1 3.4 manual from new 11,000 miles, very steady use with the odd blast and rev out. Today though after a 20 mile cruise on a motorway I smelt burning clutch when I stopped, presumed it to be someone else's car, but tonight after a brief modest acceleration I smelt it again?
Has anyone had any issues similar, I've never heard of any, I consider myself sympathetic mechanically, my 07 Cayman going strong after 70k.
I,ll be calling my OPC tomorrow morning.

Its defiantly clutch smell, went for a test this morning under normal driving I have evidence of a smell & no clutch slip, but after only one spirited get away of my god! the smell lingering for ages. Now waiting for a call back from OPC. Rang about 3 hours ago & still no call back, just about had enough.....

OPC advised not to drive the car, so it was collected yesterday using Porsche breakdown service (under warranty), I'll post any findings when I have it, I suspect it wont be until Monday now. Thanks for everyone's input.

Sorry for late reply, had my car back a while now and smell has gone away? OPC couldn’t find any problems at all. I’ve done some spirited driving and long runs and all appears ok. Frustrating I guess I don’t like unanswered issues like this, my car had its 1st service while it was in but no link to clutch smell going away.
I’m interested if anyone else has had similar issues, regards.
