991.1 GT3 questions

Hi all. I’m considering getting a lightly used 991.1 GT3 club sport with lift and PCCBs. I’ve seen a couple around. Both with two years warranty.

I have a few questions from the experts on here:

1. The tyres on one need changing. Is there any recommendation between the Dunlop Sport Maxxs and the Michelin pilot sport cups 2. Or would you recommend normal road tyres?

2. Are there any “must haves” with regards spec?

3. Is VTS standard on the 991s?

Thanks all for the tips, most useful! I put the deposit on a 2015 Sapphire blue clubsport. Can’t wait to pick it up!

I just bought a very similar spec one (2015, Sapphire, Clubsport, lift, leather) but with PCCBs. I loved the colour.

Mine had two extra years of warranty (ending Dec 19). I believe it is Transferrable as it was taken out by previous owner rather than an independent dealer when selling the car.

Mine is just getting Xpel PPF put on as these cars seem to pick up a lot of chips.

On insurance: I’m going with NFU. They are very very competitive and don’t require a tracker for values sub 150k
