What are your views on the sports suspension -10mm option on the 992 Turbo S cab? A good option? Or does it make the ride too firm in normal use? Also does it operate in all driving modes, or only when you are in Sports+ mode or an individual mode which includes it?

Many thanks. The use will be mainly touring, with occasional spirited driving days. Maybe the odd track day. My first thought was to avoid the sports suspension -10mm option. The car has PDCC as standard which I guess keeps the car pretty flat. But then I got offered the chance of a great spec car with many of the options I would ideally like, but also with the sports suspension fitted. Hence the query. Ideally will try to drive both versions, but will probably keep looking for a non sports suspension car.

Good comments. Much appreciated. The front axle lift is a must have for us. Just think you need it for city centre multi-storey and underground car parks. Had to reverse the 488 back up the in ramp for an underground car park last year, and that does have lift. Fortunately there was nothing behind us. Ironically, there is another great spec car on offer which doesn't have the sports suspension. But nor does it have lift!

Re the front lift, I might measure it up on my next showroom visit. I guess there are 2 relevant measurements: the height of the very front lower edge of the bumper with the active spoiler retracted. And the distance from that point to the line of the front wheels. FWIW in my last visit I looked at the height of the Turbo S Cab (no sports suspension) bumper compared to a Carrera 4 GTS targa with sports design pack and sports suspension. The Turbo S cab was significantly lower. At a guess 2-3 inches lower. Not scientific I know.
