ok good to know, think they need to add something or offer PTS
Also why does it cost £615 more to get python green on GT4 than standard car?
I believe Porsche GB forewent some (most) of the PTS slots in exchange for more LHD allocations. Also why does it cost £615 more to get python green on GT4 than standard car?

and because the spoiler and side intakes take an extra £615 worth of paint of course

Had the car for 4 days now and I'm really loving it. It really is a special occassion every time I take it for a drive.
Love the sound, the mechanical gruff of the engine and the torque. I'm keeping the revs to 4k for the first 200 miles, then I'll gradually incease the revs.
I've never driven a car like it, probably the closest one was the CSL and that was brilliant.
The brakes feel very sharp and the Dunlop Sport Maxx feel very confidence inspiring. I've driven them in damp conditions and they feel fine.
The handling feels a bit twitchy through some fast bends, but I like it.
I'm really having to keep restraint from not revving to high up the rev range as I want to bed the engine in gradually. I know there's an immense engine ready to scream![smile](/inc/images/smile.gif)

I click and collected my car this morning:

I shall reserve first impressions for now as the car decided to be intolerant to (of?) coolant (cloud of something thick enough I couldn't see):

After the AA came out (20 mins - really impressed) it was decided the car's next destination wasn't home. As such, with 31 miles on the odometer (of which I had done 18):

No noise - the car seemed fine in traffic for the first time after ~10 miles at 40-50 and steam started to come up (didn't know if steam or smoke - think it was steam). Checked temps and they were ~105...but more steam came.
Took the next turn off the A2, heading home and pulled over to look - more steam - and then pulling the car into the side of the road, enough steam to make it impossible to see where I was going.
AA man came out and determined all was not well and the car needed to be recovered...and 45 mins later it was gone.

Bad luck. Funny just after I’d collected mine I pulled over and steam was coming from the front bonnet vent. Lasted a wee while and stopped - guess it was water from being washed condensing. Be interested to hear what the result of yours is please.
I've had this experience too, in torrential rain on the motorway back from a Silverstone day. Initially quite alarming but once I realised it was coming from the front rad just took it easy for a few miles and it stopped. No harm done, just water being steamed off as you sayTwinfan said:
They're all built in Osnabruck, as are all Caymans.
If that’s the case shouldn’t the 11th digit of my VIN be a K, not an S? ETA, Just checked, my old one was built in Osnabruck, the new one was definitely built in Stuttgart
