Blue car just gone on Autotrader from a private seller looks great value and half decent spec.

I found the old reviews from when the GTS was launched, priced at 53k. £500 (or 1%) a year depreciation! https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202208299...
The new Gts boxster will set you back considerably more today though, pretty sure when I ordered my new one I ended up at £78k without going mad, just with a few bits I wanted, my 981gts regardless of its new price in 2015 started to look value and when I looked around at other cars at that price point, there was nothing else that I fancied.

Whole market is in a bubble right now…testdrive said:
I've added it to mine, I think it provides a nice howl up the rev range. It's funny on the GTS it's considered to be a good thing whereas the 991 and 718 guys are blocking theirs up.
I thought it made a great difference, when the roof it is up it sounds awesome, when the roof is down it sounds great too! Koln-RS said:
A ‘private sale’ provides the buyer with very limited protection.
Personally, I would consider a private purchase, if the car was exceptional and the price was attractive. But, not without the Porsche Extended Warranty.
On a 7 year old, £50k car, the security of the inspection and warranty protection shouldn’t be underestimated.
The seller can add this, with this year’s Service, for c.£1,500. The buyer can’t.
I sold my CGTS 2015 this year privately for 53K, I just got a 111 check from Porsche for the new owner but no warranty. I think thats fair and then the buyer can buy a warranty if they so choose. That blue car has no GTS interior pack, personally thats on of the highlights of the GTS.

Paid 59K for mine in 2016 from Porsche with 1000 miles on the clock. Basically a new high spec car. 3 years ago and after 3 years of ownership putting 12K miles on it sold it for 50K. I thought that was good back then as that was to a dealer who sold it for 56! These cars have always held there money really well, even before the Covid bubble, or should we say the reality as I think these car prices are the new norm along with everything else.
Aye, I paid £52k for my CGTS a year ago and was aware I was potentially buying at the peak, but the prices haven't moved too much. Only 14 on AT, with the leggiest examples being around 45k and most pristine examples over 55k. The forum is littered with various car threads in which people are saying, "not buying at these prices, just waiting for the correction." I'm not sure what correction they are waiting for, nor am I convinced that they are the few who will see a correction large enough to simultaneously drop the price and leave them unaffected.

I’m currently lusting after a 981 GTS that’s 7 years old. It’s beautiful. Just over 10k on the clock.
7 years old. And £62,0000
Is this madness?
If it was a bit cheaper I would already have bought it. But it’s the best one in the market currently and it looks superb.
But 62k?
I don’t even know how much this cost new.
Is it that special?
