Wow, Comfort seats and PDK. What were they thinking ...
Probably that they're getting bored with getting up 6 times a night for a piss. Peridot with red leather would be a stretch though...

I think frayz was probably being a little sarcastic too. I'm on 2-3 times a night now, but still rocking manual shift and bucket seats in at least one of my cars. Can still remember telling my Dad that he was too old to enjoy his 1989 964 properly before he was 55 years old. At 55 myself now, I probably had a point, but let's ignore that. I'd love a Cayman R if I could figure out an excuse.

Im 40 next year... ive still fallen out of my buckets after a long run. Peridot with red leather would be a stretch though...

That's a very rare car, it's even got the hallowed rear wiper option, that was only offered on the Cayman R to Porsche VIP customers who had bought a Carrera GT and had Walter Rolhs mobile number.
in fact, that combo is so rare, dare I say it, a veritable 1 of 1, it qualifies for the special £10k price bump, otherwise known as the CRPGPP (cayman R python green pisstake premium)Andyoz said:
Its back!!! I wonder if the work it needed was carried out by the most recent owner.squirdan said:

I don't believe there is a Python green Cayman R in existence, you're possibly confusing Python with the Viper Green R?That is one of one and a truly special car in the flesh having seen it. Perfectly specced as well by all accounts.
Although I haven’t contributed much to the forum, I’ve enjoyed reading everyone’s chat whilst owning my Cayman R. I’ve been to many car shows and only ever seen one other and it happened to be the same black and silver. Delightfully I have a young child but sadly this means the Cayman R has to go…ideally before Christmas. I’ve advertised it in the usual places at a sensible price with OPC warranty.
Thanks everyone for the chat and car based info. One day I’ll hope to get one again, it really is an amazingly balanced driving car

New cost was £72k!! Reading some of the comments, the Viper Green paint wasn't getting much love back in the day.
