Why would you want to take out your pride and joy in the rain and crap weather especially as most people have a everyday hack to run about in.
The car is for driving!

If you don't like it dirty then wash it when you've finished driving it!!

Why..? Because cars like the GT4 excel in low grip conditions..! I never understood the concept of only driving in fair weather...

Nice pic that GR is a winner on the GT4

I spent significantly more time washing my Cayman R than I did driving it. Even cleaning it after 5 miles use in the rain! Won't be doing that again, even if I want to keep the car looking the best at all times.

While the LWB look stunning they just aren't practical. I was going to go for them but having had a RS4 and R8 both with buckets i have decided not to. For one you cant fit child seats, which for me is no good. In addition to that anybody who is not a contortionist will have difficulty getting in and out on a regular basis!

Overall i do not think the seats will make that much difference to the resale value.

I find them easier than the 997 Gt3 CS I had (loved those seats). Try getting out of a Exige S2 as a daily !

I think it will - Non-Clubsport variations of GT cars are always harder to shift and attract a lower premium.
Certainly this is the case with GT3s and I expect the GT4 market to largely mirror the GT3 situation.

But it’s your car and you can and should have it however you want it. It’s been said many times before; you don’t spec your own car for the next owner (or you shouldn’t)…

Hardly say basic spec, it looks fairly fully loaded to me albeit that it has std seats.

"XUB Headlight cleaning system covers painted"

Do they paint them black? I thought they came standard black on GT4's with an option to have them painted body colour.

is a 2 seater GT car ever practical ?

seats will make a massive difference in resale hence 5 have sold very fast with buckets and 2 are for sale with chairs unsold !!! one for ages.

Actually sorry just noticed the rest of spec apologies it looks bar the buckets well sorted .

My opinion however remains that one with Buckets will sell faster

There's absolutely no doubt in my mind that cars with the full buckets will be more in demand. The folding buckets are a bit of an odd one, a little in no-mans land, because you could only specify CS with the full buckets - why I'm not sure?

From recollection the folding buckets are not compliant with the CS pack due to the harnesses.

Historically CS cars used to be circa 20% or less of the delivered cars and hence the frenzy for them. However, I sence that since most buyers have half an eye on the potential future value, majority of delivered cars may be CS....and that's why Porsche have run out of the seats!
...given that it is possible that there isn't as much CS frenzy as on historic models...but who knows..
