Message to Porsche is jack price up for the .2 version so knock out some of the flippers. Wonder who would have still bought the car if basic price was say £90k?
all the same people I would say !cc3 said:

I wouldn't, I think circa £70k is a good deal, but above that wouldn't interest me; but then I probably wouldn't be buying anyway if these weren't at least holding list price; can't stand the depreciation on weekend cars!isaldiri said:
Did you really only buy the car because you thought you would make money on it?
No, not what I said. A weekend car is a luxury, not a must, so if I'm going to be spending that sort of money, I want to at least be fairly confident that its value isn't going to drop like a stone, as I couldn't justify it otherwise. If it breaks even, or makes a small yearly loss, I'm comfortable with that, but it is a factor when picking this sort of car; it just so happens that I'm a huge fan of Porsches of which their GT cars tend to do quite well due to limited(ish) numbers. At £90k I would have also been out but that does not say it's not worth it at that level when a new 991s comes in at £100k+ with a few well chosen options and a 991gts is similar money. But my car comes in at under £72k which although well out my comfort zone on what I like to spend on a car it is still an absolute bargain.Like MDIAN I no longer want to be buying new weekend toys that the price falls off a cliff as soon as you drive out the showroom!!The gt4rs doesn't interest me but a gt4.2 might as long as it costs nothing to change!

Oh, I really want this car; it is a car that I've begged Porsche to make since owning the CR; the values are a bonus, but equally if depreciation was high, I'd probably pass, just because it would be nice to have, but non-essential. It is true that most things are optional, but the majority of them don't cost £70k!ttdan said:

Porsche Colchester would not accept my 997 GT3 if i had used the car on track.
That's a new one on me. Figured most GT3's had been tracked apachesmith said:
