Nice looking car!
I fear climbing over those seat bolsters may become a bit of a pain.
This is a big point for me.I fear climbing over those seat bolsters may become a bit of a pain.
I was at the PEC this week and getting in and out of the car with buckets was a pain, to me anyway. I'm not big at all it was more the rigidness of the leading bolster as you slide over it and wondering how the alcantara GTS interior stitching will withstand the sliding across this bolster over time.
Seats were fine once in them, getting getting in and out of them is a bit of an art it seems. I've spec'd them on my car currently but think the adaptive seats might be better for me........can't have the Mrs whinging about getting in or out of them!!

Picked it up today :-)
Only done 40 miles so far so can't really comment but X73 seems really really good. A happy camper.
A proper spec, very nice, how did you manage GTS pack and no red dial . Only done 40 miles so far so can't really comment but X73 seems really really good. A happy camper.
A good choice btw not a fan of the red dial.
Like a 981 Cayman R like that.
Did you think about the Gt4 ?

Isn't the red dial with the red GTS interior package? If you pick the Rhodium Silver GTS package, you get the silver dial??A good choice btw not a fan of the red dial.

Correct.
Yes, silver rev counter comes with the silver stitching option for the GTS pack. Thanks all for the kind words, it's an amazing car. Whilst I liked the red stitching of the GTS pack the red rev counter is not for me so the silver stitching was the only option. I did want yellow belts as well, but that breaks the GTS pack on the configurator, but apparently you can order them as parts and add them at a later date. We'll see, I figured you have to draw the line somewhere and as I'd gone mad with just about everything else it seemed too much doing the belts as well.Did I consider the GT4? Yes, but seeing as we don't even know what it is yet I didn't want to spend the next 12-24 months waiting around. I think the GTS is a more than adequate introduction into Porsche ownership anyway!

why noy just spec the standard leather and alcantara interior (no GT logo, no contrast stitching or CF panels) and save £2015? Then you can order yellow seat belts at a very reasonable £179. I changed my black seat belts to yellow on my 997; it cost £500 after discount!cibble10 said:
Hopefully some useful pictures displaying options that might be chosen. Sorry you cannot see the yellow seat belts!
Congrats. I have yellow seat belts (to match the calipers). Personally would not have spec'd them, but I dont mind them. Yellow vents is a step too far for me, but that is irrelevant, you do what you like! Enjoy your new car!I really sweated the yellow vents until the car was delivered as I thought I may have gone too far, but when in the driver's seat they did what I hoped and give the impression of a line into the yellow bonnet. They also nicely break up the black and carbon interior. As you say though, each to their own
