No full leather would put me off and others would lament the lack of buckets.http://www.dicklovett.co.uk/Dealers/PORSCHE/Used-C...
But it has PSE and aqua blue is lovely....

Looks nice to me - buckets, PSE, short-shift and a good colour.http://www.dicklovett.co.uk/Dealers/PORSCHE/Used-C...

It has the buckets.. Full leather would be nice, but does this type of car need full leather you think? But it has PSE and aqua blue is lovely....
To late now, I bought it, fed up searching for months.. Pick up Saturday
It looks fantastic enjoy.
I had a 987 with full leather and painted interior previously so I find the non-leather clad cars sparse and dare I say a little 'low-rent' with all the plastic. But that is probably a result of my previous ownership experience.
Does anyone know why Porsche use cheapo Leatherette on their seats?? - i remember being quite astonished at the discovery on my own...

Yeah, White & Peridot do seem to be the premium colours.
But then my assumption was that the 9k Paragon car would have sold in days, despite not having PSE, but it still seems to be for sale....

Dealers don't update their websites that quickly

I think everybody has their own desired spec and wish list, mine was a decent colour (peridot being the least desirable to me), standard Spyder wheels, aircon, PCM and that's about it. I wasn't bothered about PSE because after driving ones with and without I don't actually think the difference is worth worrying about.
My other criteria and probably the most important to me was LOW mileage and spotless history.

The Paragon car then? My other criteria and probably the most important to me was LOW mileage and spotless history.
It sold well and many people bought it though.
gen 1 PDK is already outdated by 981 PDK (much better and smoother) which then looks pants over the PDK-S, and we will have the Gen 3 PDK soon.
OK now I guess but in a few years time who is going to want gen 1 PDK ? esp on a R or Spyder, it's a non starter on those cars for future value.
Most buyers on here are hunting out manual cars, and most non car people don't want a R or a Spyder, just a normal model.
PDK is dead on the R and Spyder imo, but that is just imho :-) others can and will disagree, only the future ie 5 years + time we will know ;-)

Few Porsche noob questions;
11 Black Alcantara and Leatherette: I'm assuming this is the seats?
490 Sound Package Plus incl CD: What exactly is this?
666 Telephone Module for PCM: Is this Bluetooth or not?
870 Universal Audio Interface: What is this? Is this to connect iPhones/iPods etc to the PCM?

11 - yep, not real leather on the bucket seats! 11 Black Alcantara and Leatherette: I'm assuming this is the seats?

490 - more speakers and amplified - used to be standard in the gen1 987 Cayman
666 - I don't believe it is...could be wrong though
870 - adds USB, Ipod connector and 3.5mm jack in the arm rest cubby hole
Firstly, everyone has their own view and of course many will disagree. Weighing up list of wants and tick boxes and how much is important, for some it seems price is everything, but so is actually deciding what is acceptable as the complete spec may never come along.
I went PDK, suited me due to an injury and to be honest I love the auto, paddles, option for sport, sport plus suits me fine.
I also went for Blue. Probably less than 5 in the country. Probably paid a bit too much, but took the plunge and have over 2 years warranty with OPC. Air con, spider wheels, buckets, PCM, Sport chrono. Not the whole set, I wanted but enough for now.
As for colours, I like white but very common, but may also date in the long term, peridot is marmite and possibly will become the great unwanted. Red and black love em or hate them also. Who cares chill out, buy you car, get out on the road, enjoy it come and meet me for a chat and if it keeps value well then be happy.

If the Telephone module isn't Bluetooth, then what is it?
Is it like an 80's car phone/briefcase with a massive aerial??
