I was wondering about the differences the other day so thanks for posting the link.
Interesting review on the 4RS, seems like just a few tweeks on the suspension.

On track at Croft.

that looks like a colour best suited to a teenager's hot hatch Max Power type of car. I think he chose badly there with that change of colour....its very ostentatious and a tad embarrassing.Though I might be in the minority with that opinion.

Yep, you’ve wasted a car

I assume you dont realise I own a GT car, and would happily buy an RS and add the MR kit, if only I could get one …

Now for the banter trail…

Incidentally hard work isn’t correlated with income

You didn’t pick your genes, your hormones, your parents, or your education, or to be born into the western world. Nothing about you that you can control determines your hormonal response to intrinsic or extrinsic factors

So whether you do or don’t work hard, it’s nowt to do with you, as you don’t choose how your synapses fire

Now you’ve had the realisation you’re nothing but a bunch of reactions firing that you can’t control, don’t let that ruin your commute into central … at a snails pace. At least you’re in a totally unsuitable car for the job

By your own reckoning, if you worked harder you could get someone to drive you in and then save the GT3 for poodling round tracks at the weekends?

Believe me … not jealous of the lifestyle you’ve just depicted there. I can only hope you don’t have a mortgage or any debt too, cuz that just means more days travelling into big smoke for you, in a car wholly unsuited to the job….

Chill out eh. It’s just an opinion, and one I’m yet to really see anyone counter with anything other than a strawman

When everyone’s response to, “what car?” Is simply, “the rarest one” then at least the comments would be consistent
Im going to ignore the idiotic hippy bks because that is what it is but 'unsuitable car' and 'a waste' who are you to define this , If I decide to buy a GT4RS and use it to go to tescos & commute in it and I get enjoyment from it whilst doing that I think its doing its job

The GT4RS is ostentatious. I think the purple looks better than the Rubystone.

So much work went into that, wonder what it would cost the average punter?

I get that the GTR4S is ostentatious, but with that colour it is overkill in my opinion - but hey I respect that you like it.

Artic grey, which I think was the launch colour was absolutely perfect. No need for anything else.

Have any 4RS’s come up for sale yet?

Ruby stone is a classic Porsche colour, and looks stunning, IMO

The purple makes it look like a hot wheels car

Obviously it’s his car and his money, but that’s the worst looking RS I’ve seen anywhere so far

Nah, Rubystone is all hype. You don't often see similar colours from other manufacturers because nobody wants it.

Having seen the GT4RS in Ruby, its stunning. i think this is more to do with clicks and paint shop promotion than anything else. If the car had turned up in any other colour, the video would still be made, just the excuse would have changed.

Agree with this, my 3RS has never seen a track, however, it gives me great pleasure just driving it normally

Ultimately, all these cars belong to Bunker Group, and JWW is a brand of BG too.

I enjoy the 'content :-)'

I just find it so depressing to see Porsche GB policy for allocations which enables a second rate you tuber repeated offers of the limited run cars over long standing loyal GT series customers.

To be frank i feel inclined to turn down an allocation now if offered one in 2023, it just really really grates.

It does slightly grate.
I can’t watch such tedious nonsense content …..
JWW can talk about the car for an hour and never even
mention the mechanics or performance- but talk at length about why he chose a certain colour exterior and show off the carbon door sills, it’s just utter floss but I guess someone is interested for some reason.

A friend an i were at an OPC yesterday and were told all GT products are now pretty much invitation only and deposits were non refundable. Also that someone dropped £1.4m to get on the list for a GT3 RS.

Ludicrous! I wish Porsche would just make more, but I get the 'you can't have one' policy as it makes more 'want... rolleyes

I think Porsche are now in the same boat as Rolex-
they have to strangle supply in order to maintain
perception of brand prestige etc.
There’s a cost of living crisis- there may not be a huge queue
of people waiting to drop £160,000 on a new GT3 despite
what the OPC would like you to think.
Wasn’t it Enzo Ferrari who said make one less car than you can sell?
If you saw a steel Daytona in a window at list price you’d run in and buy it.
If you now got offered a Gt4RS allocation you’d take it-
but if you could phone up today and order one there’s a good chance you wouldn’t order it- ‘cause it would depreciate 20 grand when you drove home.

Indeed.

And my only, small and pathetic, way of protesting my objecitons to this state of affairs was to spec up a 992 GT3 and send it to Porsche Xxx (JWW's OPC) for them to contact me.

Their pompous response was almost enjoyable.
