I think that's the case with any PCP car these days which is 90% of cars on the road, you only have to visit London to see all the cars bouncing of the limiter from cold.
People don't care, most cars are leased or PCP under warranty and they hand them back. then added to that there are 35 OPC all have about 8 test cars every 3 months , that's another 1000 pre regs which get thrashed.
buy on condition , every car has been thrashed unless you buy brand new. In fact some say a thrashed car is better than a laboured car and Porsche also state low revs was the reason for bore scoring, the engines are built for hi revs and the limiter is well before any damage.
you should know that you bought a car and you had to have a new engine and that was not a press car !!

Above is why I prefer to buy privately or at least find something out about previous owner,an ex press car,ex demo or a car that has had multiple owners is always a no for me!i agree with the sentiment about some pcp buyers as they know it will be replaced in 3 years and may be not to worried thrashing from cold.
Reving an engine is fine but only when up to temperature !
Still not sure about that car with the gel stickers all over,I mean why would you on a £40+ k car!

lucky for you there is a car for sale which shows off what the car can be, no weighty extra's and all the best bits and manual. very rare launch spec I think one of 3 in that mega spec with the two big cost options of leather and PCCB.
def the spec to have if you plan to keep it long term as an investment.
I've seen this and although it's priced up right at the top of the market I do quite fancy it for the summer . No radio is rare . But is it that desirable ? Forgot to check but assuming no air con either . Doesn't seem to have been snapped up yet. Do you think it's priced about right ? def the spec to have if you plan to keep it long term as an investment.
Shame it hasn't got chrono or alcantara wheel ....
