Try looking for a car with the 'Sports Pack' which gave you PASM and the 6 speed gearbox. The PASM in 'Normal' mode gives a decent ride with with wider 18s. But be aware that the 6 speed 'box means the car just tips into the higher rate VED group for some reason.SS7

Glad to hear it, and I appreciate none of us have your experience.During the process of deciding the spec. on my Cayman 2.7 I had the chance of driving two cars back to back, both on 18" wheels, one with and one without PASM. The behaviour on poor road surfaces was much better with PASM - and the improved compliance meant I could drive the car faster.

So it's a personal opinion, not a general one as your post suggested. So are you saying you've never tried it?
I don't see how it could it be anything other than a personal opinion reallyI have pressed the button a few times and it's unusably hard in sport mode
When the button is not pressed and it's in normal the car doesn't seem to ride any better than my 987 with no PASM, on 19's
Hence pointless, to me

Your first post suggests a more broader view.

I read this a lot and think it's a load of rubbish that possibly causes lots of people to avoid cars o 19's or seek out the pointless PASM feature.

It's the second part of that statement which you've chosen to overlook that suggests a more general view.
