Patience is a virtue gents
I ordered my PTS (Riviera Blue) CGTS on 1 June last year and it completes build on 9 February ready for me to take delivery early March.
Its been a long haul but reading the forums has kept me entertained. Am I excited.......hell yeah....
Very nice, I wanted my CGTS in that colour after seeing a 911 at the Experience Centre at Silverstone. However, I was told it wasn't possible at the time to get the car in the colour I wanted for March. I would love to see pictures of it once it arrived as I know for a fact my next Porsche will be in Mexico / Riviera Blue with PCCB's.I ordered my PTS (Riviera Blue) CGTS on 1 June last year and it completes build on 9 February ready for me to take delivery early March.

Wow, didn't expect that. I am Northamptonshire so maybe a bit far from you? Can you post a picture?
Thanks

Did the same soul searching cos I wanted paddles!!!! I have had the sport steering wheel previously in a Cayman R and thought it a bit tacky... The heated carbon MF wheel is very nice indeed though I may still have Techart paddles retrofitted. First I am giving the buttons/rockers a few more months to persuade me otherwise...!
SS is a definite. No issues with ride height to date but like you sweated it.

Slightly off topic but....
Factory collection will be starting again after March - I emailed the German factory collection address like another PHer did and they also contacted my dealer to say "we haven't told you this, but factory collection will be available...."
Btw, if you send an email to the German address, don't expect a reply from them, chase you dealer if you haven't heard anything after a while.
My understanding is that they stop collections during the winter months given that they would be sending punters off in new Porsches without snow tyres or chains.... Liveliest I got with my spec was Lime Gold:
But I had the same problem with that as the Mahogany Brown - great for me in principle, but I'm not willing to commit without seeing a car in the colour in real life which is almost impossible!
I really sweated the yellow vents but when sat in the car they did what I hoped they would and kind of extended the bonnet into the car. Also they break up the dark interior. Coupled with the yellow trimmed mats and yellow seat belts I feel I get a real sports car feel to the interior.
Agree that not being able to see each colour on a real life car makes choosing a very anxious process.
If anyone would like to see mine and are anywhere near Reading or south of there I am over the weekend of the 20th February (from Guernsey) assuming no snow....

My BGTS was built on the 14th Jan, left Germany on the 20th and arrived in Sheerness on the 21st. It is finally due to arrive at the dealership tomorrow. Due to collect on Friday Hopefully yours will be quicker but expecting a delivery in a week is probably wishful thinking.
Damn you were right. Pick up week later than planned next fri. On a positive side I'll miss the snow. Big man upstairs must be looking out for me .cowboyengineer said:
Well I've had mine for a week now. It's so good to drive I've not been able to resist going out in it. I've put 1000miles on it and I loved every single one of them.

Are you ok with pictures of a lime gold/mahogany gts in real life or do you have to see the car in real life? I'm pretty sure there are pics of both colours earlier in this thread - there was a cayman gts in lime gold at pecLiveliest I got with my spec was Lime Gold:

Hi everyone. I have been reading this thread with a great deal of interest as I am about to take the plunge on a Cayman GTS. I have been assured by my OPC that production of the GTS has now stopped and that they will not be building any more. Residual values are very important to me so this is encouraging. Recent posts on here, however, suggest that build of the GTS has not ended. Can anybody shed any light on this for me??

IIUI - the GTS is a standard model, NOT a limited run special so they will keep making them throughout the life of the model. They will cease once the Gen 2 is launched and then you will see a Gen 2 GTS. And so on...garyhun said:

thank you for that. Are you sure on this as my dealer has stated categorically that they will not make any more.Gassing Station | Boxster/Cayman | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
