Which part of the advert doesn't list the correct spec?
Well just looking at the pics I can spot stuff that was an option that isn't in that list wink I didn't say what is there is wrong, but it is not complete at any rate.

It also appears (pic isn't clear so could be wrong) that there may be a button at the bottom left of the console in front of the gear stick - in my car I have two there, sports exhaust and sport mode. So maybe it has sports exhaust or retrofitted sport mode without the clock.... Although from one or two of the pics of the outside it actually appears to have no exhaust whatsoever laugh

Other than a rear wiper and exhaust delete What else is missing?

Have you sold the R David???

Lets hope you don't live to regret the 2nd one going like you did the 1st! Although a 991.2 GT3 should provide sufficient consolation...

Hi Tracey, Bit harsh posting that given we have done everything we could.

You called to enquire on a car we had for sale along with details of your current Boxster Manual part exchange,
We gave you a trade in price for your part exchange,
You wanted more than we offered,
We sold the car to someone else who also enquired on the car at the same time,

I really dont like it when we have more than one person interested in a particular car but I cant see what else we could have done, we have to sell cars otherwise we go bust.

But to tell us we would have been better to sell to you given your position position (in PCGB) and you would have been a better buyer considering you Porsche connections.

Enjoy your next car but please think before posting as posts like yours can damage what we try our best at doing, that is treating our customers fairly, regardless of wether they have a position in PCGB.

Paul.

Courtesy would have been nice whilst in negotiations and just not telling.me you had interest in a deposit from another party nice to have been given a chance to place mine.
But hey ho I now know better.

Unfortunately we try not to say 'someone else is interested ' unless asked . in this case that back fired on us with an up-happy potential customer (yourself).

We agree on that just would have been nice as in the middle of negotiations you could have offered me a chance to place my deposit as you had another deposit in the wings.
To offer me other cars that I am not interested in when just lost a car i had .set my heart on is upsetting.
Let's us both put it down to experience on both parties.
Only dealt with OPC before so maybe your approach is different.
Moving on.

Possibly yes,
Our approach is offer you a fair trade in price and a sensible asking price on the car we are selling to get the deal done.

I imagine its a tricky one for a dealer. If they say 'we have someone else who is very interested' the buyer might think, 'oh yes, that old chestnut'! and feel they are putting you under pressure to buy.
Ive thought that in the past when told the above when enquiring about a car, didnt believe them and missed out on the car!

Did you really say they would be better selling to you due to your PCGB connections? yikesyikesyikesyikes

And to be fair to the dealer, every time someone tells me "be quick there is other interest in the car" i just think it's car sales pressure bks anyway, unless of course the car is a rare and desirable spec.

Take my Viper Green R, I had to act very quickly on that car and paid top money for it, had i not then i'm pretty sure someone else would have a beautiful Viper Green, low miles one of a kind manual R with all the right bits in their garage and not me.

As they say, you snooze, you lose!

I don't see any reason why a dealer should tell you about other interested parties personally.

As said above, it would probably put a lot of people off because they would feel like they are being pressured. If the dealer told me that I would take it with a pinch of salt and ignore it anyway.

These cars with good spec don't pop up much so when they do it's obvious there is going to be other interest so you need to be quick. I was driving mine home within 3 days or so of it being listed.

It was unfortunate in this situation that you missed out on the car you wanted. But on the other hand someone else out there has probably got the car they desperately wanted. In heindsight if you were keen on it, regardless of trade in or not, you should have left a deposit straight away. Easy to say now though obviously. Good luck with your continued car hunt.

Sorry not a matter of being told or not someone else is interested .
Just courtesy and politeness to be told another party wants to place a deposit mid negotiations would have been nice to be given a chance to place mine.

Thanks on the above post probably not going to look at any other cars only wanted to change to a pdk car nothing wrong with the car i got only fancied pdk due to circumstances..
In future probably use opc never had any problems before.

Anyway done with it now .
Moving on.
