I think crayon looks fantastic on the GT4 or a hardtop 911......
but for no obvious reason I’m not sure it suits the Spyder

Yep I agree with this - I had a Crayon 991.2 GTS with lots of black accents; it was a very good looking car & had planned on going Crayon on my Spyder but for whatever reason it didn’t do it for me.

In truth I think the colour choice on the Spyder is really limited full stop. - not Porsche’s finest hour in this respect.

Colours so subjective though - no right or wrong here

Without reading the entire thread I presume as with previous generation not anyone can walk into a dealer and order either the Gt4 or Spyder but can with the Gts?

Just watched Henry Catchpole on the Carfection review of 2019 - about 20 mins in he states the 718 Spyder is his favourite car of the year - which is high praise indeed when you look at what he’s been driving.

He also mentioned how he liked it even more when he drove it a second time - basically he was genuinely really enthusiastic about the car; thought anyone with one on order would like to know this.

Bottom line; if its good enough for HC its good enough for me

Yeah high praise indeed !! In fact I’m yet to find a bad review sounds like they have nailed it!!

I Wonder now the GTS has been launched it will take the pressure off GT4/Spyder production and they will make it a limited run soon. Not sure why it’s still showing as a full production car when they are clearly still very difficult to order.?

Was yes. Amazing car. For me the classic pack interior was a must as it feels special.
