Dealers already offering that, they will then slap on a huge mark up. I’d suggest asking price very fair for both, it’s about 6k over list and about 6k under all other asking prices. Eg it’s got a better spec than the crayon car on sale at £115k - so it already represents a win for a 2nd owner.
£6k under all the other cars which are NoT selling and dropping in price daily !

Just offer it at list and sell the bloody thing before you have to sell it below list.
No win for the 2nd owner bar getting a car at list price on a spec which is not their own. ,! When they might get a slot in April on a spec they can choose.

These cars will be under list by the end of the year hence cars at OVERS will not sell this time round after a few more months.

If a OPC is offering list sell it back ASAP imo also stand you well if you want another later.

I can’t get another later as there is zero availability (even if passing this one back to the OPC as an incentive) so I’m not going to rush anything. It’s the best priced one by a country mile, bluntly if it’s going to be at or below list by end of year then I’ll just enjoy it for 11 months.

Why not just admit it's a flipper? Nothing wrong with making some easy money.... everyone would do the same if they had the chance.

no ones even got the April allocations let alone Junes, Sept and 2021's yet and the PDK cars !

if I were a buyer and was after a 718 I would be waiting for offering £5k below list, loads of cars for sale.

My OPC (The Netherlands ) told me last October;

Porsche will introduce the 718 GTS 2nd-3th week of January.

They were spot on.

I ordered a GT4 PDK in October last year, as a 6MT, they told me it can be changed into PDK as of April 2020.

Let's hope they are spot on again.

God you have changed your tune!

So you agree your 991.2 gt3 is now worth below list on a trade bid or do you think it’s only the new 718 gt4 suffering from the Porsche range price wise?

The Hairpin Company's GT4 list price was £92.610K not including car tax and is up for 105k. If it sells I guess the owner makes max 5k but if it doesn't he might be lucky to break even and that's assuming he paid cash. Doesn't seem particularly clever to me. If I were buying I wouldn't pay a penny over list in this market.

I was talking with a specialist car garage recently and they stated they expected gt/spyder resales to be list or less by spring. The car market is at a low point, anything new is only worth more when there is limited availability.

I fully expect the GT4 to lose value from new. The market and times have changed since the 981.

If you're fortunate enough to get a 718 GT4 allocation, do what I'm doing: buy it, drive it, enjoy it and don't give two hoots about residuals driving

Exactly....makes me laugh that people will happily blow £10k a year on holidays abroad but panic at the thought of their precious car losing some value.

Yep, the value threads and discussions on here don't half get tiresome.

Most cars lose money - pick the one you like and drive it while you can. You're a long time dead!

You said you were selling due to other commitments, but now you'll only sell if the car makes you a profit?

Correct. If it’s worth selling I will do given other short term commitments, if it’s not then I won’t.

My Spyder left the factory last week (about a week or so ahead of schedule) and was sat at the docks waiting for a ship as of yesterday.

On track for an early March collection as planned - Not long now! driving

My GT4 is due to be completed this week with collection next month.

I suspect most of the 2nd batch cars haven't arrived in the UK yet but will do over the coming weeks.

If we haven’t seen the major build volumes come through yet, then how many cars are going to be for sale in another few months???

Hi All, Does anyone know the current situation with regards to build slots? I was given an allocation for a GT4 back in August last year and i duly gave a 10k deposit. I didn't expect to be on the first run but i certainly expected to have been offered a build slot by now. I have been chasing but not getting any concrete information. Earlier this morning i was told they have only had 3 build slots so far and it could be 2nd - 3rd quarter. I'm getting very frustrated and considering cancelling altogether!
