Thanks again for the positive comments guys. Really happy with it. Waiting over a year for a car and you start to get the wobble - thinking "hope it lives up to the hype etc". I can safely say it does. Porsche have done a cracking job with creating the GT4.

re stick on numberplate - I have ordered one (360mm x 100mm). I was a bit late ordering it so will fit myself.

Me mates RS I took him to pick up. A you can see, the grip is a game changer smile

Congrats on the car looks spot on.

Phooey I checked out your garage and saw you previously had a 987 Spyder. Did you have the PDLS on your Spyder? Wondering how the standard lights on GT4 compare to them? I'd rather not have PDLC but lets face it in the UK its often so dark and PDLS on my Spyder is awesome!
Cheers.

I can't remember what lights I had on Spyder - think they were just Xenons? Also too long ago to remember what they were like and compare to the GT4 but I don't find the standard GT4 lights wanting for more power.

I think you've made a massive mistake with the colour there Phooey, personally I think yellow would have been a better choice but there you go, you've done it now! ;o)
I'd look a tw@t in a yellow car ;-)

Tried and tested. The standard lights are excellent. If anyone finds them not bright enough then quite frankly you shouldn't be driving.

PDLS is also surprisingly heavy with two additional motors, more wiring loom and washer fluid..
Good point Taff.

As someone on here used to say (can't remember who?) - if you're going to start adding weight, comfort bits and nice trinkets etc... might as well buy a GTS, lol ;-) :-) :-o lol etc etc

Looks a bit insipid and washed out under those lights.
Probably better in normal daylight.
I hope you are right because I agree with you and that is the colour I have ordered!
Them pics don't do it any justice. I saw a Green GT4 on the road (Porsche Green - same as 997.1 RS - according to Notts OPC who supplied it) and it looked fantastic.

Good to hear you are all still enjoting the pics - It's been fun updating this thread smile

R1nur - don't worry. Your car will look ace.

However.. I think I have just found my favorite colour (below). Until now nothing has made me question ordering Racing Yellow. Love it. Suits the GT4 perfectly.

But, Gulf Orange. fking WOW!!

Just to clarify to avoid confusion - I love everything about my new car.

I may have mis-written this but it has been worth the wait... It is all I hoped it would be... having had a few reasonable cars before and previously sold high end cars (2002 - 2009) - this is the absolute bizz !

Looks superb. Like the black rims / red callipers. Enjoy!

That's Paul Geudon's, I recognise it from Instagram. Colour is "flat grey Porsche used on the 997.2 3.8 RS - Grauschwarz" (Mentioned by Paul in response to a question on instagram)

Plenty more pictures on his Insta - https://www.instagram.com/paulgeudon/
Cheers for linky smile

It looks fantastic with the yellow bits on the GT4! Some Black PORSCHE decals on the rear wing would look good too.

Bet they were gutted that after all the effort in choosing the most hardcore spec, it turned up on Dunlops biggrin
I don't think there is a problem with the Dunlops is there?? Some prefer them to the Cup's.
