Useful info ... I also don't need lift on my 981 GT4 which is significantly lowered ... it's still on it's first set of front bib spoiler and undertrays ...
Not really an issue if buying used anyway… everyone is speccing it so decision made. 1571kg with full tank and 90kg driver weights

I still travel in the hope that at some stage OPC's will be happy to sell to normal enthusiasts intending to use their cars ... and keep them a while. Hence, speccing for themselves and not for the OPC or resale ... ??
Surely Porsche would not have a base spec for an incomplete car ... so why should the OPC complain ?

Agree totally Chris , I specced my .2 RS basic as I feel that is way more than needed , and I bought it to use it so did not care about the salesman talk , not sure the OPC like the idea of using it though , as not Playing the game Surely Porsche would not have a base spec for an incomplete car ... so why should the OPC complain ?

Could not get more than half way through that drivel ........ wheel colours , B roads , do not like track days , why buy the bloody car , mainly I guess as he is an "influencer " thus get "invited" to buy . Give that man a 964 RS to live with for one day, to have something to really moan about . "I like hard core cars to to drive around town" he drones on , WTF .The era of influencers and 300 mile , 5 owner cars is really depressing .
Had to take the car out for a blast this morning , then realised would I really pay £100 k more more for the new 3 RS , no it is not really worth it . Can do a whole season for that sort of money .

If you look square onto the rs spider and cayman, the front looks totally wrong and out of scale with the rest of the car.may be they headhunted a bmw designer. Not wishing to upset owners, its just my opinion and im sure they will great fun to drive, biggest shame is no Manuel versions, otherwise i might have had a interest in either one.
Any way have a good xmas all.

How to turn potentially interesting material into an utterly irrelevant yawnfest.
And the sycophants commenting on YouTube….!
But if you are a car-nut with the budget for a Ford Fiesta ST3 Performance ... which is a great car, why wouldn't you live your passion vicariously via the "influencers" on the expensive stuff ?
At least they are producing material ... there will be a balance of opinions and some good always comes out of it ??

I gave up after the rubbish about wheel colours, and the credence given to some random person’s opinion on styling.

It's a working model that get's them all an allocation. Porsche get 'free' advertising, the 'influencer' gets product bungs, YT viewing/advert revenue and a car they can shift on for a profit. How long they can keep churning out their stuff is questionable although some will try to polish a turd to the extent of rolling it in glitter if it gets them viewers and subscribers. Behind the scenes probably a lot of effort goes into it to produce content along with working out their unique catchphrase How to turn potentially interesting material into an utterly irrelevant yawnfest.
