My CR has the Alcantara wheel.
But my old Cayman S Sport Ltd Edition had the wheel gearknob handbrake in alcantara as standard.

Hi guys,

Could someone with factory buckets do me a favour and measure how 'long' the t belt buckle receptor is and if possible give me a part number?

I'm installing some pole positions into my Cayman S and i need to extend/replace my existing buckles so they come through the seat properly.

Thanks

Bedford GT booked for next Sat. Nice easy place to get used to the car. Loving it so far. However must remember the brakes are nowhere near the GT3s!

Agree. After owning GT3, GT4, 911GTS each having PCCBs I'm beginning to understand why there's so much discussion of the R's brakes on this thread.

I run the car at Bedford quite often, and have found the following brake setup very effective, (zero fade, 20 min stints) and the car will almost stand on its nose under braking.

Stainless steel lines all round.
RBF 660 fluid.
Front - Sebro high carbon front disks with DS2500 pads.
Rear - Standard disk with DS1.11 pads.

I've managed to find what I think is the correct part number. Can anyone verify 997-803-183-10 + 997-803-183-11

Thanks dude, i have Castrol SRF and Endless front pads and OEM discs on it as I got it. I full expect the standard discs to st themselves but thats fine as they need to die before Spa anyway.

Ive got 997 GT3 ducts and the master cylinder to go on at Parr in April so may chuck some discs on then as well. Im speaking to Alcon to see if they can do me a version of my GT3 discs that will work with a caliper spacer - up to 350mm i think it is.

The old mans got surface transforms on his 997 Clubbie to to be honest most things feel ste compared to those LOL

Not affiliated but think it's a bargain.

30k for a damaged repaired cayman R which has been paid out by an insurance company, I wouldn’t call that a bargain but it’s certainly usable as it will never be valuable due to previously classed as an insurance loss.

I sold a m4 compition pack recently which a family member had damaged, I couldn’t even believe someone wanted to put it back on the road!

It really winds me up when people misrepresent cars.

The ad says 16k miles yet the photos show 17k, it claims leather dash when it's plastic and cruise conntrol fitted when it isn't.

Given all that, I'd be a bit sceptical that all it needed was a windscreen and wing!
