That's assuming you start from zero spec, starting with the right car would be cheaper!:

Thats a PDK s with some nice wheels, shame the seats arent staying, thats a good way towards an R
Nice wheels and Aerokit!!

I see what your saying and I do agree, but the £15k delta is surprising (or at least interesting) nevertheless.

Collecting the R next week and have already started looking at modifications hehe *

Obviously I will have the OPC Warranty stranglehold around my neck, it already has the Porsche short shift kit fitted (rifle bolt or what!), so what else can be added without affecting warranty?

Thinking about a cage for some track work....is there an approved one?

*not looked forward to collecting a car so much since my 458 smile

Nothing if you want the warranty, you would have been better off asking for 1 year and for them to refund the 2nd.

Set of front 10mm spacers helps turn in, bar that any thing else would effect warranty, as a steel disk R needs a brake upgrade, and manifolds brings these cars alive.

But it’s bloody great out the box, enjoy.

Hey Guys,

I’m selling my Cayman R! It will be the cheapest in the UK. I’m pricing it at £38995. I am going to get professional pictures taken and get it up on pistonheads but if any of you are in the market get in touch.

It is truly stunning connoisseur condition benefitting from a comprehensive full Porsche Main Dealer service history. Extremely desirable 22 months Porsche Approved Warranty & Roadside Assistance remains.

No expense spared with recent £k spent on replacement of all discs, pads, tyres and major service carried out. The next service due in April 2021. Full paint enhancement ceramic coating applied.

It’s essentially a no brainer buy. Would rather give it to one of yous than the dealer! It also comes with what I would describe quite a rare factory spec “error“.

Good luck with shifting your R, Vivstiloe. I'm sure everyone here will be keen to see images - especially one of this "factory error" smile

Do you have some spec details? I tried to message but for some reason your account doesn't accept emails.

Specification including: 19" Lightweight Spyder Alloys, Porsche Sports Exhaust, Sport Chrono Package Plus, Porsche Dynamic Light System, Sound Package Plus, Porsche Communication Management (PCM) with Navigation Module & Bluetooth Connectivity, Automatic Climate Control (AC), Heated Seats, Rear Park Assist, Porsche Doppelukpplung (PDK) 7-speed, Launch Control, Lightweight Battery, Cup Holders, Adaptive Spoiler Button (Factory Error)

I have put some pictures on the “Porsche Cayman R” Facebook page where it has had a bit of interest. The dealer is offering me not too much off what I am asking for but I would prefer to see it sold private than up at a premium the following week after trade in.

Interesting. A dealer made me an offer of £29k for mine. Suffice to say that won't be happening.

Haha, I literally went to look at this the afternoon after you bought this. Wanted a sit in those seats to make sure they're comfy

Absolutely stunning car bud.
