No I don’t think the Green GT4 has ever been advertised - labelled up as a new car in the showroom though. The Spyder was briefly advertised and then disappeared - so may well be sold and is awaiting collection.

Hasn’t the salesman from OPC Wolverhampton already explained about the green GT4?

Looks like production ending as people have said - have the last build slot at my OPC
going arctic grey no PTS available - may do comfort seats with PDK and use as a daily - (have 997.2GT3 CS already for trackdays) pity about PTS but it seems the final cars are now just being completed to end the run of GT4s

Solihull have a nicely-specced PTS Viola car at near(ish) list, but a manual with comfort seats and xenons. Bit of a odd spec combo IMO, but it might suit you if Viola floats your boat and you can forego PDK...

PCCB not got the X on the configurator so must be available, but buckets and Bose still have X next to them which means not available!

Ok so GT4 is two weeks old and about 500 miles. The rattle I mentioned isn’t loose trim like I thought. It is engine linked. On light throttle around 3000rpm there is a noise which sounds tappety. I know they all sound like that at idle, this is only once car is warm and at those kind of rpms 2.5-3.5 on light throttle. Don’t have to be moving will make noise when revving too while stationary. Been googling and some say noisy injectors can sound like this. So GT4 owners do your cars do this? Under heavier load you can’t hear it. Is this normal? Thanks!

Can't hear anything like that over the clatter of my lightweight flywheel laugh

GT cars have more mechanical noise inside due to less sound deadening material. I wouldn't worry about it.

My car is very mechanical sounding inside with lots of little nuanced noises. It's a feature of the car I like. That doesn't rule out the potential there could be something wrong with yours, so I'd get it to your OPC to check out if you're worried.

Mine has this noise, when trundling at constant throttle under 2000 revs (before anyone gasps - I am talking 1st/2nd gear...)

The noise disappears completely if I open the throttle or completely lift off the throttle.

My description is exactly that "tappety noises"

From https://www.howmanyleft.co.uk./vehicle/porsche_718...

Between 2019 and 2022, a total of 666 new registrations for 718 GT4 manual
The PDK total : 291 with only 1 registered in 2020

So total newly registered by the end of 2022 = 957

So not massive a number, not as much as I was led to believe

Those numbers are up to end Q3, 2022. You can probably add on another 70-80 for Q4 the data for which should be available from the DVLA ~mid March.

The manuals are pretty cheap there are some bargains on Autotrader at the moment. I considered the green one RPM have as that's the same as the one I'm hoping to have new but in a manual it's about 6k under list from what I can see.

It depends, cars get mis-registeted quite often. This happens with GT3s too.

From what I have seen so far any 718 GT4 with PDK, bucket seats, leather interior and LED PDLS does command a good price.

Would they carry this into the future?
