The Porsche Centre Teesside gt4rs looks to best value to the £, basically current list price including on the road cost.

First one I’ve spotted being sold for list, makes the lower spec cars look expensive.

The Ashgood car is doing its best to prob the bottom of the retail market at £150k, this yellow higher mileage ex press car is now starting to look over priced at its current 150k asking price, this is unusual for Ashgood as there cars are normally very well priced compared to other independents.

Be interesting to see if opc will get the same or more allocations for 2024, they certainly haven’t received the 1 or 2 cars most of us were lead to believe.

Agree Teeside car is the best value in the current market with the little drop earlier this week. Also has full PPF so saving 3-5k there also.

By this you mean they have received more per dealer, right?

Glasgow dropped their GT4RS by approx £10K this week also. It’s a bit of an odd spec car though with no lift. Suspect that will alienate a fair few potential buyers

How left shows 203 cars registered in 2022 up to end of quarter 3 2023

Currently 45 opc across the Uk meaning an average of 4 to 5 to a dealer by end of quarter 3 of 2023.

If the gt4 rs runs to end of 2024 we could see another 100 to 125 cars, maybe more if it carries on into early 2025. Either way I’m sure they will be able to sell ever car porsche GB offer them. If I was s betting man I would say the Uk could see around 325 cars.

I would say lift is essential if you plan on using it on the dreadful Uk Roads.

This would appear to have had two "careful lady owners" (I apologise now !)

My 981 GT4 is significantly lowered and I still have my original front splitter, but I agree that for some front axle lift could be a prime requirement ...

The question in 2024/5 is whether or not you can get an allocation. If not, this car looks great value as an end of the month conquest at £155k ??

The same as the Edinburgh car at the end of '23 ... one more owner but fewer miles ?

You might well be correct that numbers end up over 300 cars. Interesting that how many left show around 675 GT4 were sold in UK, so the GT4RS is heading for around 50% of regular GT4 production. The folks who paid way over for early 4RS cars must be well pi##ed off.

Saying all that, a new lightly specd GT4RS at list (even with WP) its in the £130s, still a cracking buy and I’d say very safe place car wise to stick your money short/medium term. Long term the 4RS will I suspect always be in big demand as a high water mark in driver enjoyment/analogue experience amongst a sea of EVs and the like.

I agree that if you can get the spec that you would have chosen (or did choose) at Porsche list, they are a great car.

Your numbers are out on the 718 GT4, a total of 1303 registered car in the UK.

Agree I also think demand will definitely be they once prices settle. Prices are just to close to a 992 gt3 at the moment.

At original introduction price (108k) and then up to the first price rise(113k)… excellent proposition. Thereafter diminishingly so vs 991.2 GT3/RS and 992 GT3 IMO unless you were just truly committed to the cayster platform, and dependant on intented use.

Lol, the more alive PDK version clap

Considering the pdk version was produced for a shorter time than the manual it certainly was very received due to it build numbers!

I’ve said it before; porsche Uk pulled a blinder on allocations, 1300 cars is the highest run of any model porsche Gt car in the uk.

Great car

100%

Porsche UK saw the extra profit to be made and took it.

Test drove 991.2 3 pdk and manual and 992 3. 991 felt a comfy tourer. 992 was better, still comfy but better suspension.
Drove the 4RS which was mega exciting to drive, an occasion. Each to their own, to me 4RS much more fun..

Interesting, I think the last GT3 I tried was a Gen 1 991, liked it butwas same price at 3 years old as a new GT4, which I bought instead back in 2020. Porsche will clearly keep pumping out the bigger car as long as petrol is available, whereas the smaller 4RS is a one off which they have thrown almost everything at - suspect this comparative rarity will count well in its favour in the medium/long term

Is the PDK in the GT4 the same as the 4RS? It was spectacular.
