Had a slight problem....

The car was advertised as having Bluetooth....however when trying to connect my phone it soon became apparent the phone module was missing...

Spoke to my man at Porsche and he agreed without any argument to install it at their cost.

Fantastic service!

Probably the best car buying experience I’ve had.

Had a new 2 litre turbo Macan for a day which, apart from the engine, was a nice piece of kit. They do drive really, really well.

Loving the Cayman....more and more each time I drive it. smokin

Superb day out today with PCGB region 10 on their road rally of Northamptonshire.
This was a jaunt across Northamptonshire that started out at Dove House Motor Co and finished up at Deene Park.

Totally surprised and made up to be awarded the “Best Water-cooled” Porsche trophy today for my Peridot R. Glyn also came away with the thoroughly deserved “Best in Show” for his gorgeous white R.
Over 200 miles covered and many bugs massacred, the R’s were superb.

Both cars looking fantastic. Peridot has certainly grown on me loads.

Advice on servicing please. Car is under warranty until may 2020, full service including brake fluid (due) booked for 29th / 30th July, first track day booked for 4th Aug. Question is could i supply my own brake fluid as would make sense to use Castrol SRF or similar. TIA

I've supplied oil and brake fluid before when using OPC.

I'm pretty certain they can't refuse if you ask.....scratchchin

Yup, this was with a GT3 under OPC Warranty. It was about 5 yrs ago, but nothing has changed since then as far as I'm aware.

Might be worth speaking to them, or if you prefer ping the service manager an email.

It does save a fair few £££££'s....

Congrats to both of you on your awards.
Region 10 have previous with R’s and “gatecrashers” . I attended one of their POTM events at a small brewery near Silverstone ( Blackpit brewery , highly recommended ). Even though I wasn’t from their region , myself and my wife , Carol were warmly welcomed and we even walked off with a prize for best turned out car ( our now sold Peridot Cayman R ) , I think they must have a soft spot for them , along with impeccable taste obviously!,

Agreed Dave. Super friendly bunch and couldn’t have been made to feel more welcome.
Great day out, maybe we can do a full on Cayman R gatecrash next year biggrin
