Thanks to everyone kind advice I ended up going for a test drive aaaaaaaaannnnnnnnnnddddddddd I ended up buying it on the spot
Looking to go collect Tuesday need to get it insured.
Anyone recommend an insurance company? I haven’t had anything like this before or are the main companies like Direct Line still the best?
I've got mine coming in May. I got a quote from Rosie Heelas at Classic Line Insurance with extensive track cover for a similar price to what the comparison sites wanted. She's good to deal with, so I'd ask for her. They also don't see factory options as modifications which I believe some do.Looking to go collect Tuesday need to get it insured.

NFU and LV worth a look.
Above two both require tracker activated.
Admiral do not require tracker. Make sure you declare ALL options including any PPF.
I have an NFU Multi Car policy however they're not as competitive as they once were. I had a quote from them two weeks ago for my 718GT4 and they were £250 more than ClassicLine. Obviously I went with the latter which include great track day cover and don't consider how many years NCB whilst I had 8y+ NCB with NFU.Above two both require tracker activated.

If you have existing NCD from someone else you can ask them to park it on your policy. It's not used by Classicline for weighting and doesn't increase but does let you declare X years NCD when price shopping. They'll want a tracker activated doesn't have to be the Porsche/Vodafone unit.
The inclusive UK track cover is probably the best value bit of the policy if you do trackdays. They won't cover European days or the Ring from experience.

They do cover european days, but not the 'ring whether TF or trackday. They'll want a tracker activated doesn't have to be the Porsche/Vodafone unit.

They do cover european days,
Interesting do you have European days inclusive in the allowance or subject to an additional fee? They certainly were not interested in quoting me an European day extension fee earlier this year. So I’ll have to push that come renewal if it’s possible. The Ring is obviously a no no for them TF or CD/DN.

Oof.And even with lots of boxes ticked they missed the leather dash?
Blimey.
saw this in the flesh last week, it doesn't look any better in person. Not sure what they were thinking with the red brakes and red steering wheel notch. Other than the plastic dash it was fairly well specc'd - CS, Bose, PDLS, PDK and the PTS colour. A few small changes and it could have been really nice.

hm, I rather like that, it stands out, it does not scream look at me I'm a wannabe racer, it looks 'friendly' and different (not in a bad way) and I bet in say 10-20 years its a premium of 10-20k above the black or other most chosen colors.although sadly they did not choose the pink stitching which really pops out, now its a bit dull in the interior.
I guess its a bit like back in the days when you dared to chose a violet purple-ish example 911.

Picked up mine yesterday. Very lightly used - manual, with all the extras. I wouldn’t have paid or waited or been in the line for a new one anyway.
Definitely a car I am going to have to learn how to drive it…
1st world problems.
Wonderfully manual and analog compared to my outgoing M4 Comp X drive… :-))

Any photos? See my post about PEC Precision Track Experience. They'll help you learn how to drive it if you are up for it. Definitely a car I am going to have to learn how to drive it…

They are fabulous cars, and if you found one in a spec that you like, really doesn't matter for a lightly used one, especially given that you can't order a new one anymore! Hope you enjoy it enormously, they are brilliant things, and I honestly think end of an era now.
