Python. Alcantara. Carbon interior.
Not exactly spec sensitive .
Also want a good priced one. If it is a good price then I will compromise on everything bar the Python
I can wait as I have a GR Yaris coming next month so I don't need two fun cars.
GR Yaris - have you test driven it? I did, twice, back in December, that's because my Spring preorder was due to arrive in January. And I cancelled it. Main reason: the view from the driver's seat is super restrictive, plus smaller annoyances like artificial engine sound and a bit wobbly to drive. So if you are planning to driving it much, try to test drive first before getting it, my advice. Not exactly spec sensitive .

Now my head is wobbling.
I currently have a very high mileage R50 MINI Cooper as my daily, and GR Yaris is right up my street as a modern, fun but capable car to, with GTS as weekend/tourer. Just been scoping out the GR thread on general gassing. Struggling to find reasons not to go for one now and be patient for it to arrive. But wondering if a used one in a year would be more sensible.
Previously considered an Up GTI but low availability and one dimensional/first warm hatch reviews put me off!

I have driven the Yaris and apart from the high seat and low mirror I loved it. I was looking forward to it until I test drove a Cayman GTS this week.

Yes, the Yaris looks the business. As you say, wouldn’t stop me buying the GTS, but the wife’s Fiesta ST is now coming up for 6 years old. (I don’t think she’s ever done over 60 in it - even with the Mountune pack). However I do borrow it at the weekends just to blow the cobwebs off. make sure it’s running ok Now I could just see her in that little Toyota... perhaps with circuit pack so it has the lsd and the Torsen backend. And she’d never get stuck in this snow what with the 4wd and everything....safe as houses. Now my head is wobbling.

Orders my 718 GTS4.0 back in late October - had confirmation from the dealer that the car was completed on Thursday and now it's a case of waiting for it to be transported. From peoples experience, how long did they wait at this point?
3 to 4 weeks. Mine was 3 weeks but think I got lucky with the transports.shost said:

Interesting. Have come at it the other way. Had an order for gts which was a bit of a stretch tbh. Reviews of GR Yaris came out and I've switched. Planning on adding a 3 year old gts in the future. Mine was built 5 weeks ago and hasn’t arrived yet. Trying not to get too giddy !rossfitz said:

Will be nice to use my GTS to be honest, not so much lockdown, as I’m key worker, but weather hasn’t been ideal to push it!
Ashgood's have a delivery miles Agate Grey one coming in for less than 68k gbp which is aggressively priced as you'd expect compared to OPC prices.
Has all the decent options apart from the GTS interior pack(s)

How do I know this because I am getting offered these cars and I do not want the initial depreciation.

That is the going rate for a used car. A GTS is not going to be a piggy bank for your next Porsche.

It'll be interesting to see how much further they drop before people start to jump on them. The OPC site is replete with pretty similar cars in the high 60s, early 70s. Even just three weeks ago, there weren't really any below £70k, so they are falling. Maybe the end of lockdown will see people snap them up?How do I know this because I am getting offered these cars and I do not want the initial depreciation.
