It don't have spyder wheels, just the gen 1 very old sports design wheel, my least fav wheel in fact.

Dan I would go with the above. They are very close to the original wheel specs but with the effect of running 4 mm wider track front and rear which is ideal for our cars. My Oz set above have similar offsets.which would be the better set for my Cayman R - (spare set for track days, if I ever do one...)

A potential problem with the 11 inch rear in the other option is that you'll have less clearance to the strut.

not really, understeer city and PSM on the 987.2 car is very very fussy and your speedo will be more out !
you have changed the front rolling dia by 22mm but the rear by 45mm, and now under tyred on the front and way over tyred on the rear.
you may have also induced neg rake as the new tyre will drop the rear more than the front, when the car really needs more positive rake ie dropping the front more.
again results = less steering feel and more understeer again !!!

As said above those sizes are not what you want. The wheels will take the standard sizes of 235/35/19 and 265/35/19 perfectly. That 285 on the rear is a little wide for a 10 inch rim. Strange that they should have fitted such weird sizes.8.5x19 ET51 (F)

PCCBs are worth the couple of grand premium that car has on it in the current market. They are transformative on the steering and braking. Well I think I've now finally managed to find the best technique for extracting myself from the bucket seats! The key seems to be to hold onto the door sill with my right hand. Place left hand on top of steering wheel. Extract right leg and then push up and out with right arm. I never had the same problem with Recaro buckets in the 964! Now I just need to master the positioning at the petrol pump so that I can open the door enough to be able to get out!

The petrol pumps are the one!! Difficult to extract yourself with any dignity there Had my CR big service done today at Chester OPC. Cost £675 with plugs, brake fluid is SRF and already changed.
Good service and a Macan loner which was very nice for what it was but not my sort of vehicle.
Only problem was my sport exhaust switch over not working which I will investigate myself, oh and a non Porsche battery. I fitted a Bosch at 2yrs old as the Moll battery expired which are generally poor, so quite pleased with that.
