Not many options on that I'd say, most cars purchased to use and keep will be circa £160k.jol09 said:

Don’t look up 992 RS prices then! Well I’ve got 1200 miles on mine so far in just over a week and it’s bloody brilliant. Been to see uncle Matt at Fernsport today for Geo, pads and fluid change. Just got to get a few hundred more miles onto it and we are good to go at Oulton Park on Friday.
People who buy them and don’t drive them are contemptible in my view. Their loss.

It depends, I can see how someone would be tempted to get a stripper spec at £130k and drive the wheels off it. That's what I'd do if I was in the market.A stripper spec car is sub £120K. The cars at £160K are all flipper specials with all the “must have” options like a £6K bonnet stripe

Cheeky mine was £130K ish. I don’t feel like it’s a stripper spec. I didn’t want mag wheels as I am yet to be convinced by the durability on lots of trackdays, and I’m on steel brakes for the same reason.

Apolgies, I didn't mean to offend. I'm totally of the same opinion as you, the WP stuff is very expensive cosmetics that will be pricey to replace. I'd spec one for track use too and they really don't need much for that job.A stripper spec car is sub £120K. Unlike when it was first launched you'd struggle to get one under £120k by the way, the list price is now £123k!

Not for long especially when you see cars like 996RS falling from £170k plus highs to struggling in 120sEdited by IbanezDan on Thursday 20th July 15:09

Please show me any 996RS for sale for 120's. Cheapest Ive seen in awhile was a dubious example selling on CC for 142k with fees. JZM just sold theres for 160.
You mean the one that sold on CC a few days ago?Edited by IbanezDan on Thursday 20th July 15:09
Know the chap who bought it, and it's a very good car so not sure what the dubious comment is?

Dubious being it sold at auction and nobody unless they went to see it can confirm how original/well maintained the car is etc. Sure there are some good cars on CC but there are some lemons too.Know the chap who bought it, and it's a very good car so not sure what the dubious comment is?

I'm not a fan of CC by any stretch of the imagination, but unless you've inspected a car it's probably best not to suggest it's dubious.
