That ticks most of the boxes, would like mag wheels but not essential...

Tempting, very tempting...
Mag wheels terrify me - especially with the state of the Scottish roads/pot holes like craters!
Yep plus you need to have the worlds best tyre fitter too.

Much prefer the design of the standard wheels btw.
Is the magnesium alloy softer than the paint ???
The metallic version of Roquefort.

I've run magesium wheels on 964rs, 993GT (both OEM Speedlines and BBS E88), CGT for 60k miles and over 20k in my 991 Touring. The single issue I had was last year on one rear of the Touring wheel, a crack was spotted. I suspect it was a manufacturing defect, but BBS and Manthey were very good and between them replaced the wheel FOC despite it being well out side warranty. Other than that in over 100k miles never had an issue, they are very durable IMO.

IMO, what an utterly dull & boring colour spec. Flat grey, blue/grey, black, and more blue/grey.

All the visual fun, totally drained out of the car. sleep

Reminds me of this:

Yea always feel an RS works really well with vibrant colour - and you don’t have to go to PTS - yellow/red free and Shark under £3K…

Well I personally think it’s one of the best specced 4RS
In the UK. Opinions are like Ar$eholes. Every one has got one.

Manthey Kit is ridiculously priced. You can get them from Holland much cheaper but possibly will affect warranty.

• it has never been out of my garage when wet
• never ever driven unless at temperature
• look at peridot Rs , launch colour
• as soon as hit 1.2k miles I had a oil change
• phenomenal car and meticulously cared for

I am not sure the oil change is a selling point if it is not recommended?

After having circa 15 Merc Sprinters I disagree.

2 years is a long time to have oil in. However as above Opinions are like Ar$eholes. People are entitled to follow the manufacturer guidelines, I don’t.

Haha, so it's your car, and you originally posted the cryptic link in attempt to drum up interest because you have it on SOR. That's why you were so tetchy about my subjective opinion...

Hands down the best looking GT4RS I’ve seen for sale to date.

This won’t hang around for long, sadly out of my price range.

Beautiful

Wow that is stunning. Amethyst is such an underrated colour IMO. If I had been fortunate to spec it, I'd have also added yellow belts & doorpulls to contrast match the 12 o'clock marker and PCCB's, but, that and the PTS Pastel Orange car in Bristol are my favourites on sale right tonight. The red one in Stockport is also nice, as is the White one in Leicester.

IMO (like aholes) both leagues ahead of the self-proclaimed "one of the best specced 4RS In the UK" car.

I’m not a fan of the Orange Bristol car (I live down the road and have seen it in the flesh) but that Amethyst one is gorgeous. If I were buying new and PTS was available it would 100% be that.

If fact I already have a saved configuration in Amethyst I did a while back

also love that viola, big difference here a viola and a ships i forgot hah, anyways meaning those, in my eyes the Viola looks so much better.
made a new post better in one picture to see how different it looks, more special, although the other color would be special as well I guess.

Mmm think its straying into Mr Whippy ice cream van/Christmas tree spec territory with the rather clashing red calipers blue wheels and Amethyst tbh best keeping it either standard dark sat plat wheels/silver wheels and yellow calipers the red is a step too far imo but each to their own....as ever.

I quite like this… colours definitely work together for my eye with the red bringing a bit of pop….from the page at least.
