Isn't it about a grand to get the decals done?

Na was getting my self belt buckle replaced in mine while a friend was looking at it, opted for a gen 1 991 GTS but it’s a good spec 1 owner car, be interesting to see how long it sticks around for

Out of interest, were the carbon fibre bucket seats an option on the Cayman S?

If so, has anyone ever seen one?

Yes they were an option and you do occasionally see them come up for sale.

I dug the R out of the garage this afternoon and took it for a spin up to OPC South East London for a nose around as I normally use Tonbridge and haven't been into South London before, they have some nice cars in there, a 911 R, a GT2 RS and a 718 Spyder, plus all the new stuff.

Going back to the car park though i didn't feel too disappointed to what was waiting for me in the shape of the R.

I hadn't driven it for a few months and having driven a 996 C4S daily for those few months it really feels light on it's feet and fantastically responsive.

Not sure if I would ever need a faster car either, don't get me wrong, I've owned faster cars and I get the thrill of 3-4 second 0-60 times etc, but as a whole package the Cayman R really ticks a lot of boxes.

And a gratuitous photo just because...
