Only 3 manual OPC 718 GT4 with buckets remaining v 11 PDKs.
One option, doesn't a market make. Your numbers highlight one combination. Put the market together to get a more accurate picture...Total OPC market: (% v the Total OPC market )
Manual - 9 (39.13%)
PDK - 14 (60.86%)
Manual + Buckets - 3 (13%)
PDK + Buckets - 10 (44%)
Manual + CS - 3 (13%)
PDK + CS - 6 (26%)
Manual + PCCB - 2 (9%)
PDK + PCCB - 5 (22%)
Manual + Buckets + CS - 3 (13%)
PDK + Buckets + CS - 6 (26%)
Manual + Buckets + CS + PCCB - 2 (9%)
PDK + Buckets + CS + PCCB - 4 (17%)
Then add market driven 'value' variances and time-available options etc etc
9 out of the 23 available cars have LED PDLS+
14 out of the 23 cars have BOSE
20 out of the 23 available cars have the full leather/alcantara
Then add gearbox availability v market availability:
0 2019 cars (0 Manual 0 PDK)
4 2020 cars (4 Manual, 0 PDK)
7 2021 cars (4 Manual, 3 PDK)
9 2022 cars (1 Manual, 8 PDK)
3 2023 cars (0 Manual, 3 PDK)
Then factor in screen price:
£80-90k - 8 (8 Manual, 0 PDK)
£90-100k - 10 1 Manual, 9 PDK)
£100-110k - 4 (0 Manual, 4 PDK)
£110k+ - 1 (0 Manual, 1 PDK)
In reality, the market hasn't really changed that much over the past 18months, it remains consistent to season/price/spec/age factors, and the PH generalisations get thrown out the window once you start looking at the data in depth.

Nice one in Porsche centre South London. Shark blue with club sport, buckets, PCCB and dual harnesses.
It's PTS 'Riviera Blue', not Shark. It's the one in my list above priced over £110k, but IMO the spec reflects that price, as it's PTS, PCCB, CS, Exclusive Manufaktur Stitching colour selection, etc etc Edited by kmpowell on Friday 1st September 16:34

I recently took delivery of a new GT4 CS Manual – the very last allocation from my local dealer.
You'll find very divided views on PPF here. Personally, I always apply PPF to my cars and would recommend it, especially if you plan to track it. Some might advise simply allocating funds for a new paint job as necessary, but I prefer to maintain the original paintwork.
I would recommend consulting your dealer or finding a local detailer for advice. I have used Topaz in the past; while services reached over £5k, I managed to cover the majority of my car in both PPF and detailing prior to application for just over £2k at Alpha detailing in Kent https://alphadetailing.co.uk/.

Hello all,
I took delivery of the car recently and I am looking to have it full PPF'ed.
Just wondering whether other fellow GT4 owners had their car PPF'ed.
If you did, where did you do it and how much did you pay/ would you recommend your place
.
Thank you so much in advance

Hi all,
Apologies for perhaps being lazy and not reading all the pages here (of great content)! I'm interested in a GT4 (currently an C7.5 RS6 owner)--quite different I know.
Slowly getting to grips with the specs on offer, I wondered if there was any consensus on 'must haves' vs 'nice to haves' and I'm interested in your thoughts (even if highly subjective)?
Is there a list of options available anywhere that I can crosscheck against?
These really are epic cars and I can't get them out of my mind!

Carbon buckets, Clubsport and Carbon Ceramic Brakes are seen as the 3 big ticket ones I think. PDK is personal preference, although they do seem to be attracting a premium over manuals (FWIW, I wanted a manual until I drove one at the Porsche Experience Day, which totally changed my mind and I'm 100% happy I went with PDK). The next round of desirable options are probably PDLS, extended leather, contrast stitching and Bose.
I think it's a bit of a waste having a GT4 without the buckets, however they're fixed and not the most comfortable seats going so some people actively prefer not to have them. Clubsport is the roll cage and (optional) harnesses, I opted for this on mine but the reality is it's not really any use on the road other than appealing to my inner 5 year old. The harnesses can be moved out of the way when not in use so I thought I might as well have the option for track days.
The (standard) plastic dashboard looks naff, and I went for Bose as it's a noisy car on the road so I wanted something powerful enough to hear the music over the road noise. It's not a bad system but don't expect it to be great.
I didn't go for ceramic brakes on mine purely due to personal preference. They're very expensive to replace so worth having the wear checked prior to purchase if going for used so you don't get a nasty bill. The manual is very tall geared, all the reviewers talk about it but having driven them back to back it's very obvious and detracts from the enjoyment of the car, e.g you can do 90mph in 2nd so spirited driving doesn't require much working of the 'box. The PDK suits the car very well, and it sounds great banging through the gears!
After driving a manual gt4 then trying a pdk I ordered my car with a pdk box. The pdk box totally transformed the car in my opinion.
Buckets are nice, but I found them difficult to get out of if a car was parked next to me.
Huge choice of cars now available, good luck with your search.
