I received one last week from PC Hatfield where I bought my last car. Unfortunately it would be a 300+ miles round trip for me so I won't be going. Could do with an invite from Leeds of Sheffield (both of which I use for service and parts) as they are the nearest to home.
New Boxster is the 20th at Sheffield, give them a call and ask for an invite as you're local....

Not Godalming, Dorking, Woking or Guildford.

I have had a deposit sitting with my local Porsche dealer since 1st December. I was 5th in line with the 4 in front of me allocated cars. I spoke with the dealer yesterday and he advised that the other owners are starting to take delivery of their cars and he will refund my deposit unless there is an announcement around extra allocations.

I am therefore not holding out much hope about getting a car. Is anyone else in the same boat? What is the view around extra allocations being given to UK dealers?
I made my usual enquiry to all 34 dealers today. Responses were very mixed, no suggestion of a car, but some said all gone and production already finished (not true), some said all gone sorry but we may get another batch, and others tried selling me their flipped cars, so you never know I guess. I suspect it is too late now though.
I was told that the Spyder production has indeed stopped - so no more

Building to July I was told, no one will ever know bar people at the factory, so all hearsay.

I do know people who are still waiting for cars and have end of May dates though, so production is still going strong atm my OPC went from getting 2 cars to getting 7 so many more cars to come.

what's inaccurate ?

OPC and the likes of me and you will never know when the last car comes off the line.

But my OPC has 7 cars coming and the dates are late May for some people to get cars, hence production has NOT stopped yet and people are still to lock in spec.

Top comedy.

If there are 'so many' Spyders, where are all the flipped ones at OPCs......only one 981 for sale! If each OPC had 7 Spyders scratchchin this would be c 60 percent of GT4 production which is clearly bullst.

Max 3 per OPC stacks up with max 95 UK cars and no more for UK.

lol cars are at dealers just not on web sites, many dealers have cars coming, or for sale in show rooms.

Of course not all OPC got 7 cars, My OPC got more Spyder than GT4 though, some people say some OPC got 24 GT4's some OPC got 3 Spyders, who cares, are YOU calling me a liar ?

All we know is people are still to lock in spec and cars will keep arriving every month to owners.

The amount of cars for sale has nothing to do with production figures lol, what a stupid thing to even say !
I still think figures will be over 150 cars, Porsche UK planned 150cars in the press release and people have got onto lists quite late, so more allocation def happened.

Same with GT3, same with GT4 it's nothing new.

Custard test what ? you are a nutter lol

Just wait and see end figures, it matters not to me or you what they are, you have your cars, I have mine.
we will all know numbers in due time, just don't call me liar !

Ask Timbo on here when his Spyder arrives if Production has already stopped and there are cars after his at the OPC to still come.
I am saying no more on the matter, it's pointless.

So you aren t prepared to reveal which is your OPC being the only one in the UK allocated more Spyders than GT4s.scratchchin.......seems a touch coincidental don t you think bearing in mind your past form knocking the 981 Spyder....you seem overly defensive for some reason!

Don t forget I own both and have no axe to grind on either car but know for an absolute fact there are approaching four times as many GT4s as Spyders which are essentially niche cars.

You have also missed the point on the 1 Spyder for sale at OPC v 30 odd whatever for the GT4.......I fully realise this isn t the sole indicator of production run but it is further confirmation of limited numbers available relatively few having been flipped.

you are still a nutter imo lol I am not defensive in any way ! GT4 were built 1st and yes there are a lot of flippers, Spyders came later and maybe owners want to keep their cars who knows, it means nothing !
My OPC is Leicester, I said to you ask Timbo on here if has had is car yet from Leicester if Production has stopped and you want to keep calling me a liar !

As for the ONLY OPC to get more Spyders than GT4's who knows, I only deal with one, that's you making a big thing from nothing again !!! get over it all ffs.

The end numbers will all be on how many left in 12 months time, who cares ?, bar you bleeting Production has stopped at 95 cars !!!

For what it is worth, I believe there have been around 150 Spyders allocated versus round 400 GT4's, but that is down to demand; the GT market was always going to attract more buyers, residuals aside. Spyders came a little later too, so less on the market, plus of course Spyders are more price sensitive at this time of year. The key difference of course is that premiums on the GT4 have meant more for sale; if they were just selling marginally above list like the Spyder, I'd bet there would be more like 10 for sale, not 34!

Remember that GT Silver Spyder for sale at Romans at ~£76k, yeah, I should have bought that frown

I think It says a lot about how good the Spyder is when you look at the ratio of Flipped Gt4s to Spyders, Most buyers bought the Spyder as this was the car they actually wanted to own not turn for a profit, I was lucky to get my car when the first owner struggled driving it with an injury, his intention was never to flip the car, I have kept an eye on the market since December and there has only been a few come up, I do think the lack of available cars will increase Spyder values over the next few months certainly as the weather picks up should any come to the market.
