Dark colours seem to hide the lines better so grey or black would be my pick for the 981.
Hide the lines because it has an ugly ass lol Seems daft to order a dark colour so it Hides the lines !!!

Most tend to think the 'rump' of the 981 is no uglier than that of the 987.......on both cars it is the weakest design feature imo......but probably no weaker than the rather awkward Cayman when viewed from certain angles from the rear.....
I think the 987 Spyder has a great rear! jayxx83 said:
Once you add the radio and ac back in wont the 30kg weight saving be lost?
Manthey will (for a consequential fee) remove the air conditioning from a 911 to make it lighter. They claim the saving to be up to 14kg. The cooling requirements of a car that lacks back seats will not be more, nor will its components be heavier. IIRC the sound system is in the 3-4 kg range. A significant proportion of Porsche owners could delete as much weight with a 6 month gym membership (myself included naturally)...Anyone ordering one of these without ticking the options for the full sized fuel tank, the air-con and the stereo is being a bit daft IMHO. If you put racing suspension and slicks on it you might (and only might) notice the difference.....

Is the bigger fuel tank really a no- brainer?
Why would you want a smaller tank - it's not as if there is a downside (as far as I know) to the bigger one? Porsche only put a smaller tank in so that the headline DIN weight (which includes a full tank) is reduced by 7 kilos or so. Beaver said:
Keep coming back to white, despite trying to be different.
I think the UK gets the regular buckets and not the 918 seats.
Regulars can be heated but apparently not for the 918s.
Also, seems to be hold ups on GT4 and GT3RS with the 918 seats so that may be why.
I keep thinking white, but Rhodium could look good (which this 918 apparently is...)I think the UK gets the regular buckets and not the 918 seats.
