I see the configurator has been updated and on the 718 GT4 you now get harnesses to match your seat belt colour choice rather than the black/yellow Schroth harnesses I have. Interesting.

It looks like the 992 GT3 only gets black harnesses, so they may still be the Schroth items...

Kinda want yellow harnesses to match the seatbelts now... probably not worth what the cost is going to be to swap them....

I think the tacho is just a poor render, they've made it look too light.

As for the harnesses, I'm wondering what the quality of the new ones is like and who makes them? How about you buy some and let me know?

I prefer the way the old configurator used to render things, this one is a bit too uncanny valley for me. (Down with new things and change!)

They will likely still be Schroth - just the render doesn't show the branding...... was it shown before the update?

Is that render supposed to be taken literally?
You should get 2 sets of harnesses per side.
One set for HANS and One Set for NON-HANS.
The ones depicted are the NON-HANS looking set.

You don't get two sets of harnesses T, just the one non-HANS set. Do Schroth do blue or green harnesses? TRS seem to looking at Google images, but not Schroth.

No branding on the old configurator either:

One set for use with HANS and one set for use without..

Glad that someone said that they are not HANS-compliant as I was about to buy a couple of HANS or Simpson kits, assuming that they would be compliant.

Just to be clear. The wide ones are not ‘NON-Hans/FHR compliant’

You can use the wide ones with HANs/FHR. In fact I do, although I will be changing them.
People do also use these without HANs or FHR although I’d personally recommend that you have one.

The point is, the other HANs/FHR specific set of harnesses. should ONLY be used with HANs/FHR, because they are narrower to fit into the HANS/FHR ‘troughs’/wings.

Hope that makes sense.

Ref Simpson FHR, I believe the wide harnesses are compatible in the same way as HANs.
