Ooh Ken, did you go for the Carmine GTS interior pack? I had a mad few days where I was thinking Carmine car, black wheels and Carmine GTS pack. I went for the Crayon GTS pack when the spec. lock came upon me rather faster than expected. I'm guessing both look better in real life than the configurator renders. Would love to see more interior pics!

Hi Liam,Liam
Car is approved used so I had no choice with spec other than finding the one that suited me.
It had to be manual , had to have the carbon interior with the carmine stitched GTS package .
Alcantara everything was essential and for me it is great - grippy and comfortable.

Click the image , I think it will show a video which was made for me on the day of collection
That looks absolutely fabulous. I'd be more jealous if I didn't have a similarly spec'ed GTS 4.0 being built, but I'm still a bit jealous! I'm still manual box only, but have gone with a leather steering wheel. Slightly weird choice I know, but it's to make driving my 981 GT4 feel a bit more special (I think). First world problem, as it appears I can now afford to own both, which wasn't a foregone conclusion a few months ago. Liam

I was watching a review of the 718 4.0 GTS yesterday and the reviewer was getting irritated as he could not turn the traction control fully off? I have one on order and this would irritate me too. Is this true or is he hopefully mistaken?
They didn't read the Manual. The system is so unintrusive, unlike many Stability Control systems, that if it is making its prescence known then in all likelihood you are being hamfisted.
If you do a PEC day get your instructor to demonstrate what's possible with it engaged.

I've just been told this from another forum.
This is what Porsche says about driving with PSM off:-
“When you brake in the ABS control range, the vehicle is stabilised even when PSM is switched off. One-sided spinning of the wheels is prevented, even with PSM switched off.”
This is from the Porsche Good To Know app, which contains all the information in the user manual, which was in the pic you posted from the manual too.
This could be why, even with TC fully off you cannot get full power on exit from bends on track. Which is a shame. TC off should be OFF with only ABS active.

Mine does exactly the same. Really frustrating in the good weather.
Try pressing and holding the volume button until the PCM reboots. Also, you can set the air flow in the PCM.The Good to Know app will help you out if you need it.
I really should read the manual.

Mine is being built this month - at last!
I’m looking for something to hold the tracker fob. There seems to be a few options but I have heard that there is a change to the old fobs.
Anyone got a photo of the latest fob and any recommendations for a holder?
Thanks.

So the current 718 gts tracker fob is the usual old shape? I thought that some had changed but wasn’t sure if it included the 718 gts.

If you haven't already sorted this, I had a play around today and mine is now working effectively. Found the setting which controls how aggressively it trys to reach target temp, I'd missed the first step (ignition) previously!
Delivery set up had Air Flow set to Soft ie. economy.
Here's the starting point after pressing CAR (1), then (2-Set) will get you into the correct menu...
Ignition ON
Press >CAR on the PCM (centre screen~ physical button)
>Set (lower line on the touch screen)
>Vehicle Settings
>Air Cond. and Heating
>Air conditioning
>Air Flow
select Normal
Doing this deselected Auto on my a/c, so press the physical button again to re-engage it.
Before doing this today mine was not attaining the target temp (sunny/24c).
After, took the car from toasty after a coffee stop in the sun down to chilly in no time with temp set to 20c.
