They'd just finished detailing it when I arrived to check out this Cayman S.

The money shot! With that interior and the fact that it's literally fully loaded, it had to be mine. Finally picked the car up on Saturday. The Cayman S is everything and more than I expected.
Congratulations, the orange interior on the 981 Cayman just looks soooo good. Bet you can't wait to put some miles on it now...
Very interested in a comparison on the two cars good and bad?

Thanks, it's a real step up in from my TTS, Tango there in the background

And no it wasn't the orange interior that attracted me before anyone says it. It's Amber I'll have you know wink
I've had a little play with Sport, Sport Plus & PSE... explored a bit on a few back roads I know. It's so exploitable and fun. Stunning. I don't really see the need for anything faster or more power. You really do feel at one with the car... and the noise. That flat 6 adding real drama to any journey. No surprise the TTS is not missed.

Cheers Moose...

No I didn't. I was there Saturday morning from around 1030 'til around 1130. We had a look around at some of the lovely stuff they had there but didn't see a red 987.1. Perhaps it was parked round the back, or it was that sad looking the performed a mercy killing and put it out of its misery wink.
I must say though... Great service, lovely people to do business with. This my first Porsche and they were really helpful with advice and recommended a respected indie specialist very close to me in Essex.

Did you happen to see a yellow 987.2? Just sold mine to them frown

No I didn't see that either. I didn't get to look around the whole place. Once the paperwork was completed we had a look at a car my best mate is very interested in then hit the road to start getting to know my Cayman. I'd not owned a dual clutch car before and was apprehensive of maybe anchoring the brakes my mistake. I needn't had worried. PDK is a fantastic piece of kit, throw Sport and Sport Plus into the mix and the car is simply stunning

Thanks for all the positive comments people... I still can't believe I have such a good example of the Cayman

Fixed that for you Woody wink

I've been seriously thinking about having my Cayman protected in the same way. If you don't mind me asking, where did you have it done and how much?

This was my friends car, was what convinced me to get my GTS after I tried launch control, it's a well specced car and the leather is beautiful.

This is my 2016 Boxster GTS, had a Mercedes SLK55 AMG before, loving the Boxster, sound from the GTS is better than the AMG, especially in tunnels.

Hi David...

I did wonder if my car was known to anyone here. Black & PDK were not on my list but the and the leather, it is beautiful. The seats look like they had never been sat it. Launch control eh... I haven't even tried it yet. I'm guessing he has his hard driving moments in the car...? So what he move on to?
Your GTS is lovely... I'm not a vert fan myself but can appreciate them.

I wouldn't say he's driven it hard personally, just used launch control a couple of times to show it off, certainly impressed me. Ironically, I've not even tried it in my car.
His circumstances changed and he's now in an Audi A6 avant for now, sure that will change soon enough though, he went from a Q7 to the Porsche....

I was just curious, I'd expect he'd have explored his favoured roads and cracked on.

An A6 Avant... I feel his pain.

This looks quite low at the front. Do you have a dead body in the boot?

Fresh from an overhaul.
New springs, ARB's, front rads, track friendly brake pads and sportier geo set up.
It goes so well - genuinely thrilled with it.
All for less than a new Korean hatchback...
