The direct answer is that I've replaced it with 2 cars, not one - a PDK PTS 718 GT4, and GR Yaris Circuit Pack.

Apologies in advance as I know this has been done over and over (but no search function on thread)
I am looking to replace my pads (getting low) & Fluid (due a change) I have a couple track days booked up, Bedford & Anglesey. From those with experience what do people recommend & where to purchase from ?
I am not against switching pads back to OEM for the road miles in between track days unless someone has a better suggestion / something suitable for both ?
TIA
I have tried many different pads on track and the only ones that can put up with multiple track days are Pagid RS 29's. Expensive to buy but they last longer. Also cooling down laps are essential if you want to stop discs from hairline cracking.I am looking to replace my pads (getting low) & Fluid (due a change) I have a couple track days booked up, Bedford & Anglesey. I used PFC in mine, the Clio has Motul RBF 660 in it which i also like. The rest of the Cayman has Girodiscs and RS29s all round, titanium shims, GT3 MC and GT3 brake ducts/paddles. 29s are an old pad now though, bloody dusty but the dust at least isn't corrosive like carbon metallic compounds.frayz said:

We chatted about your upgrades 18 months or so back, i managed a couple days on the standard pads / setup and to be fair i was expecting worse but the pads need replacing now. I have fitted the GT3 ducts & had alignment set up at Center Gravity. As discussed my limited track use and novice level doesn't warrant the Girodiscs upgrade. From feedback / others experience i feel a decent fluid and pad upgrade would be a good next step ??
Exactly how noisy are the pagids ?? Are the RS 19's the replacement? What would be the alternative or should i just stick with stock pads? I don't do big miles but intend on 2 / 3 track days a year
RS29'S are noisy on the road on standard discs, strangely with Girodiscs they are quiet. I did swap mine in and out for track days with out issue just make sure they go back in where they came out and few big stops from high speed and they bed back in, as Frayz said they are dusty.
Fluid I use Endless RF650, expensive but again seems to last longer and not require changing as often as some others.

Oddly i have RS29s in both the Cayman and Clio. Cayman is on Girodiscs and the Clio is on plain high carbon Brembos.
The Clio is my daily and they're silent on both cars. I know many folk often complain that RS29s are noisy but my experience of them has always been a silent pad.
Often down to bedding procedure, type of use and heat cycling. Like you, I ran RS29's in AP 6 pots on the front of CSL, no squeaking at all, ever (solely road use)The Clio is my daily and they're silent on both cars. I put them in the rear AP four pots and it sounded like London bus immediately. Annoyingly I'd stuck them in just prior to a 10 day Euro tour, and no matter how hard I drove the car and the temperature I got them operating at, they steadfastly refused to STFU. I pulled them as soon as I returned back to Blighty and fitted DS2500 instead. Normal service resumed ...

Really don't want noisy brakes for the road miles. Is there a pad that works better on track but acceptable for road use also? Appreciate compromises need to made somewhere along the line.
May have to swap out for each track day if only option.
