His usual drivel unfortunately. I wouldn't hold your breath if your hoping for better things to come, I'm afraid his stuff will only get worse as he gets more mainstream.

I see Clarkson has been suspended by the BBC and the last three episodes of TG canned as a result. Someone on 911 UK suggested Tiffany Dell, Vicki NVH and The Monkey as being the way forward for the presenters on a new motoring programme.......All I can say is god help us if an "enthusiast" thinks that would be progress......rolleyes
Speaking of which, where'd Autocar's Steve Sutcliffe disappear to? He's not written anything, nor been in any videos in months.

Pretty sure Sutters has left Autocar.

Whoa. Sure about this? He's been the only constant there for the past 15 years or so. Any idea where he is?

Not surprises it handles well, we all expected that from an already brilliant mid engine Cayman that also has many of the GT3 parts.

Sounded great from the outside but I have to say a little disappointing inside the cabin and also the tall gearing he didn't seem to like for normal road driving.

That said at 65k base its a great car
Who gives a f--k? The UK allocation is sold out twice over so you have as much chance of owning one as a 918 Spyder. Porsche can stick it up their back sides. I'm interested in stuff you can actually buy.

Not sure why the Evora is seen to be the GT4's British rival, I would have thought the 2 seater Exige Cup would be a closer rival and give the Cayman a good fright. Particularly with the new 400 bhp engine...

because gt4 also does the road bit of the road and track equation. it has an interior and much more civilised inside. exile v6 cup is only a serious track proposition.

You guys make me laugh, you take everything Chris Harris says a gospel. He goes to the airport in a car lent by Porsche, gets flown expenses free to Portugal and rags their new car around that track so that he can make a video/write reviews of the car to earn cash. do you think he is going to slag the car off? He also has unprecedented access to a lot of Porsche cars is he going to risk his earning potential?

Even if it's a dog Chris isn't going to tell you.

The guy may as well be working for Porsche...

I wouldn't say the current Evora is in the frame but the Evora 400 sounds like it is being pitched as a track friendly road car, so closer to the GT4 than any other Cayman (although if the Evora is a useful 2+2 it is obviously better compared to the 911).

He was pissed off with Ferrari anyway but he knows where he bread is buttered.

Bang out a video of yourself drifting a new Jag XKR on YouTube and 17 people watch it; do the same in a 430 Scuderia and the audience is 500,000 strong. As a journalist, those numbers make you willing to accommodate truck-loads of bullst'

He soon went crawling back to Ferrari, even buying one to get back in their good books.

He's easily the most entertaining car presenter on the net to me,its irrelevant whether his opinion on a car matches mine ,I dont buy cars because of a you tube video.

Anyway autocars video is now up.

Delusional, don't know what I am talking about...

You are naive if you think Chris, or any other journalist isn't affected by the need to make money and keep the hand that feeds them sweet.
